it\]s too easy holeman won't win with lars 'gainst anakin, his mid-low pokes wont do...only way you could smash jack is come close-to-close...that is if anakin can't beast head2head...thing is the only way to win is to counter the advantage in space...play jack as well, simply put jack is the best...i think personally knee could get better with jack than anakin, seriously, same with holeman, nin, jdcr etc...look how nin got rain stumped like he never did before...see, he did with a JACK...

@assersassers They already won from anakin, son. Knee owned his Anakins Jack on january 2011. MLG is not a good judge because the matches were only 1 and if the opponent underestimated you or dont know your strat, they can easily lose.

Never knew that FC d/b+1 is that good. How do Anakin and Knee manage to do it that fast? I cant even see them crouching. Is there a quicker way to do it?

@SridharsVs the best technique is to slide it the fastest possible while playing with a stick (top player like them do it every time), input like FC d/b+_ ; FC d/f+_ ; b,f+_ ; b,f+_ ; qcf+_ ; qcb+_ can be done incredibly fast while playing with sticks you won't even see the character crouching or moving a bit

same in S5 semi finale with Lars

thats about the only 2 times they faced in TC

I dont know about the other casaul matches but if you saw S5 semi finale knee did not have a chance against Rain's lars he even won one of the rounds perfect

Best way to fight a char is to learn using it. I guess he just underestimated anakin and did not bother to get experience vs jack. knee used bryan for a long time, even in t5 days, so lol at people saying he abuses the tier. He learned jack to know what to do against him, not cause he thinks jack > bryan, wtf.

@lawrencepamatmat Anakin and knee played again on january this year after dallas. Unlike dallas it wasnt 1 fight. It was best out of 5 or something. Anakins jack got owned hard by knee's bryan. Anakins roger is strong though, but knee won overall.

Knee still has my respect even though he lost to Anakin(Jack), I think the koreans just lacks some exposure to other characters since most of them usually uses the TOP TIERED CHARACTERS. In my own opinion, one way of learning how to defend against a certain character like JACK is knowing also how to use it. And let's face the fact that the Koreans are humans like us. We all make mistakes and eventually lose sometimes so stop hating just bcoz they lost at MLG Dallas.

@RaishinX I think he's training using the character he lost against so he can build up strategies against it, the best way to learn a character's weakness is to play as the character. I remember when I first fought against Steve, Lars, etc... I thought it was impossible, but once you realize how they play and what the inputs are for each of their moves you can understand their weaknesses.

@dubconcrete should be somewhere in the high mids... Jack got decent punishment, dmg, wall carries well, wall damage is good, oki is there, reach is good. maybe only being big is the problem here. but he can launch punish where others get only a jab.

No, thats not the case. Most Koreans and talented Tekken players in general like to dabble a bit in all characters. He is just havin some fun, and not only that, if he learns Jack a bit, he will be able to play against a Jack better. You have to know your opponent in order to beat them properly

@JouninKS actually i think it IS the case. Knee plays Korean top tier usually. i cant remember him not playing a mid tier character. Now he's on jack-6 becuase anakin gave him a spanking.
