I think it would have been better if Takiko was the actual main character. Why did they have to make a secondary girl character? Not that I'm judging...um, Mariko was it? It's just that I find it more reasonable for Takiko to be the main character since she really is the protagonist in the original story. Now people are conflicting whether it's Takiko or Mariko that's better @_@

Its pretty much follow the story and every option you chose is a different alternate to the story, you can choose whom your character falls in love with. The fights are really confusing too, but basically is 2 circles that move and your supposed to guard your character and attack the other character with the triangle and circle buttons.

My saddest death list is:drumroll please Chiriko,Nuriko,Hotohori,Tamaho­me's family,Mitsukake,Suboshi and Nakago. Tenkou's death was funny Miisu and Renkou's death was eh not that sad. My fave was still Hotohori although his half bro Shu Tendo was hot.Haruka the new anime is like Fushigi Yuugi. It's coming out in english too.

Not this particular Fushigi Yugi, the older version is an anime (which is really cool by the way, Hotohori is so awesome, he is my fav). The newer version (this one) currently doesnt have an anime but is made into a playstation game

If MIaka didn't wish for her to Suzaku then Yui will cease to exist in this world I guess. Unlike Zuzuno chan and Miaka chan they're not devoured because of their strong will and heart!! FUSHIGI YUUGI ROCKS!!

In the original Fushigi Yugi (With Miaka) It said that Takiko summoned Genbu, then returned to her own world. But she was killed by her father. *sighs* I hope she like somehow has a major plot twist with the ending. I hope she somehow stays with Uruki.

Yuu Watase isn't nearly done with the series yet, and there have been no talk yet of making this series into an anime. Since the game practically has a different plot line than the manga, well, you see, they were able to make the game.

In the game, you're the character known as Mariko. You join the Seishi's and Takiko on their quest, and in the end you get one of the guys such as Hikitsu or Tomite depending on what decisions you chose.

The reason Uruki kisses her is because he's one of the options, as much as I hate to admit it.
