  • Liz you are a beautiful person. I adore you. And your life is private. You should follow what feels good for you. I'm doing it too. Always listen to you body. Hugs and kisses

  • Thanks for having the courage to follow your instincts, and for sharing your journey with us. I agree with 'TheStyleDiet''s perspective that sharing your reason for leaving a raw diet, could shed light and perhaps even help someone prevent a health crisis. I was vegetarian for 10 years and for me it (although I did not like the idea of eating animals) was not healthy. now green juice, eggs, rare steak, greens/vegs (raw dairy) make me thrive! no grains, very little processed. westonaprice helped

  • I think this is a really smart decision! Please also consider using some kind of sunscreen!! :)) I hope you will be fine soon!! :)

  • @Krislha Moltes gracies! (:

  • can you do a video on how to get rid of belly fat thanks!

  • That's exactly what I did years ago. No more exclusively raw diets ever, ever again!!

  • Welcome back to reality :)

  • YOU ARE AWESOME!

    <3

  • I love you Liz!! Honestly that's the best diet to go. I'm also into Lean Diet after trying several ones, and my body loves it.

You're being very wise listenging to your body.

I personally thing that a lean vegan diet is the way to go. And for those who wants to incorporate fish or seefood or cleanprotein meat once per week I think it cannot be that bad.

That's the change I've done on my self. At home I follow 90%of the time a vegan diet.

  • I love you Liz!! Honestly that's the best diet to go. I'm also into Lean Diet after trying several ones, and my body loves it.

  • I went vegan for a few weeks and noticed a huge difference in how I felt. I had so much energy and my skin was amazing. I'm thinking about changing my diet as well. Thanks for sharing this video with us. I wish you the best.

  • I have been trying to go more and more raw myself because of health issues, but I find that because I can't handle the fiber and I don't enjoy juicing all the time, I will eat cooked whole grains, since those provide me energy without wrecking havoc on my GI tract. Do what is best for you, I totally agree that following the body is so important and even if this isn't the optimal diet, whatever brings you the most peace of mind is the best decision over all else, every time. Take care lovely.

  • Us omnivores welcome you back with open arms and hardy hand shakes.

  • I've have made one month ago the same choice you made. I don't know your reason but I need to came back to my old style diet, now i'm in the middle of another transition. I m really sad but I'm feel fine! and I'm not pregnant!

  • Hi Liz, I am sure that you chose the right thing for you. I look forward to your next videos, whether they'll be about recipes, makeup tutorials, exercise, daily vlogs, home-made soaps, anything. Kisses. :)

  • Good for you! I adore your videos and I love that you're listening to your body . . . Your body is the best physician . . . Raw vegan is great for some and horrible for others . . At the end of the day, it's about what makes you feel the best! My support and blessings are with you!!!

  • If it's related to the effect of the diet on menstruation, this happened to me... Things haven't quite got back into the swing of things yet... x

  • You are sooo sweet!!! Awwww, you should never have to explain yourself to us!!!!!! It is your life and no one should judge you!!!!! It's a new season in your life! ;) I love your honesty too!!! God Bless You Liz!!

  • do more day in the life please!

  • Eat to Live by Joel Fuhrman changed my life if you're looking for a new direction. It's about being a Nutritarian(eating for maximum nutrition). Don't listen to any criticism...you can eat what you want. Think of what you did as a long cleanse and now that your body is regulated, it now needs different or more nutrients. Blessings to you!

  • Thank you for being honest! and you have to do whats best for your body that is the most important thing ive learned on my health journey especially with me aspiring to help others every time people ask me for advice I always say that there is no one diet that is perfect for every body. I would definitely love to see more eat clean recipe videos i really value those. but honestly i love all your videos! and I Love you! <3

  • I know you want to keep your reason(s) for going off your raw diet private, but if it was due to health issues, it may be good for other people who are still following your diet to know. It is of course, totally up to you but just wanted to throw it out there. You were such a huge proponent of the raw food lifestyle so it must have been something pretty major to make you change. Good for you for following your instincts! xo

  • @uclagirl1212 I will think about this! (: Thanks for your support!

  • Liz, I agree CHANGE can be great!....Listen to your body, take your knowledge with you wherever you decide to go!....Hold true to you first!....Whatever your reasons or beliefs/ values/ etc are!.....I consider myself 90% Raw Vegan, 10% Vegan.... I look to improve myself EVERYDAY!....SO friend me on Facebook, I put in a request for you to do so. keep in touch!...And know if your ever in NY you have a place to stay!.....Check my youtube page- pamelaschm2 (The Long Island Raw Running Dogographer)

  • Dr.oz said humans we need meat. Look at our our teeth. We're made to eat meat.

  • I enjoy the 5 minute and under recipe videos.

  • @LizYArtur aw no I was all excited! I think you should you would be a great mum :-) x

  • @MissEMissMakeup This is a very personal issue and I always think that people should think twice before they make any sort of comment, even super-positive ones, regarding a woman's pregnancy. It's a personal issue, not a public one.

  • @MissEMissMakeup Aha! Sorry to kill your excitement! Definitely do want kids in the future! (: Thanks for your kind words!

  • Yup, I knew u would eventually go back, a 100% raw food diet is nearly impossible to keep up for long. The body can only take so much, n then it starts telling u it needs more. Good for u!

  • That's awesome! You do what's best for you =) I don't think being strictly vegan/raw/whatever diet you choose to follow is going to work for everyone's body! I know I eat mostly that way, but for my body I couldn't handle to do it all the time. I follow the 80/20 rule and it works perfectly for me!

  • hmmmm... i dont wanna sound mean, but i was just waiting for this day, whn u wud realise, the way u chose back thn was way too strict for a body to handle ... very happy that you're listening to your body signals! Gud luck on !!

  • Happy to hear! Welcome back to the clean eating world!!!

  • I would love to see more on location in Spain videos :)

  • PS. If it has something to do with losing your menstruation on this diet... than I totally relate! Same thing happened to me. Everyone says it's 'natural', blah, blah, but as a physiology major I have asked tons of professors about it, and done my own research. It's impossible to not have your period and be ovulating... these people just say these things but have no education and facts to support it. It's unhealthy what they are doing :/

  • The raw vegan diet is nearly impossible to sustain 100% longterm... only person who has done it is Dr. Graham. But what do we know? He might not even be doing it, just saying that he does so people continue to buy his books. It's a great cleanse for a few months though!

LOVE you Liz!! :) I want to see more recipes!! I basically eat what you are eating- lean meats (I only eat fish), beans and lentils, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds; no oils, salt, ext. So please do recipes like that!! :)

  • Only you know what is best for you, so follow your heart :). I really like your recipe videos as I am vegetarian and i love to eat healthy and clean :). Looking forward to new eating clean videos if you decide to do one :). One question: are you still vegetarian?

  • I'm happy to hear that you are following your intuition and you are listening to your body's signals. I too admire you for eating a low fat raw vegan diet for so long. I am not vegan or even vegetarian, but you have inspired me to get more raw, plant-based foods/meals into my diet and I have seen some improvements in the way I feel. If it were not for your channel, I may never have considered those dietary changes. Thank you!

  • Hi Liz thank u for sharing with us and there is nothing wrong in changing somethng that doesnt work for you. Would love to see more of your delicious recipes and makeup tutorials ;)

  • I understand your transition, I recently went from raw vegan to mostly vegan, but I now eat honey, whole grains and cooked meals heavy with veggies. I've been considering eating cooked fish once or twice a month. It's best to listen to what your body is telling you and go with it. It takes a great strength to respect your bodies wishes. I'm excited to be with you in your new chapter and can't wait for new videos! Peace to you Liz!

  • I'm happy for you, and I can relate; I went through a similar experience with my diet a few years back, and I too was a little nervous to tell people, but most people are supportive. Looking forward to seeing: make-up, recipes/cooking videos, fitness, and clips of your upcoming trip to the USA!

  • I can relate to better now since m diet is clean-eating too. I think a raw diet is awesome and I do tend to go on a semi-raw diet on occasion. I think it's ver cleansing for the bod but truthfull I can't maintain that regimen for too long. I still eat TONS of veggies and fruits though just adding fish, nuts, seeds and whole grains.

  • I'm happy to hear you are listening to your body. Thank you for being honest with us! I have a question, when you say you are back to eating lean protein. Does that mean you are eating meat again, like lean beef, seafood, etc.? or are you just sticking to egg whites, dairy, and stuff like that? I'm not trying to be nosy, I just want to know for my own diet purpose. Thanks!

  • Good for you Liz! Do whatever works best for you and your body. : ))

  • YESS!! CONGRATS!! Yummy yummy good food :)))

  • Im glad u r following what is right for u! Thumbs up for that! We r all here for u. Have u read into the primal/paleo lifestyle? Any way I can't wait to c more videos from u xxx

  • Liz- I love your videos and you have to do what is right for you. I am vegan but could never go 100% raw vegan. I just need my grains and legumes, and some of my vegan dairy replacements. It sounds appealing and so do macrobiotics, but just mentally too strict for myself. I think it's great you are going back to grains and nuts and seeds. There are important nutrients in them that you probablyl can't get in fruit. I think the body just needs some good fats,

  • Ps : I would be really interested in what is invovled in eating clean :)

    Amanda/Australia

  • Hi Liz, Just wanted to say that I started watching your videos before you became a raw vegan and i really enjoyed them. But I also really enjoyed watching your videos about the low fat raw vegan lifestyle (which you really inspired me get my health back on track, especially with all those healthy recipes - ThankYou.) And I am sure I will enjoy your future videos on whatever you choose to do.

    Amanda/Australia

  • So glad your back Liz, I think its great that you are listening to your body and making positive changes xx

  • Glad you shared with us! I have a guess about why you needed to switch your diet... hope I'm right ;) Best of luck to you!!

  • Liz, good for you, do whatever your body needs because that is all that matters! Always live with no regrets :) I would love to see new recipes because my diet is pretty much the same and I can easily fall into a pattern of the same things over and over. Especially simple or quick recipes xo

  • We all find things that work great for us but with time things change, we change so no need to worry about putting this video up. We all evolve and grow, all part of life! Glad to see you back!

  • Liz you are such an inspiration. Who cares EXACTLY what you eat... you always inspire me to be healthier, and that's what's important.

  • maybe she wants to prepare for a child?? lol Whatever the reason, I am really excited for you! Now, I can relate more to your new lifestyle. Thanks for being honest!! Love from LA =D

    ~Yady

  • I am so happy for you. You shouldn't be intimidated on putting what you feel on your channel. Just remember that it is your health and happiness that is important. I have been a vegan in the past but not a raw vegan. I am slowly working my way back to being vegan but it is a journey, Back then I didn't know what I was doing and became ill because of it. Just always stay positive because you are a radiant and beautiful person inside and out!

  • What you eat in a day videos! It sounds like you are eating so healthy and seeing the food would give us great ideas. Also Insanity updates!!

  • Your pregnant!!!!

  • @MissEMissMakeup Nope! I know that's what everyone is thinking but that's not it. Not even trying to get pregnant either! (:

  • @LizYArtur You do NOT look pregnant, just to let you know. You look skinny and gorgeous!!!! That's always the first guess everyone has for everything.

  • I think I know what's going on :) Keep us updated please :))) and pleaseeee.. make som videos in the US :)

  • Follow your heart Liz. I have also tried the LFV diet and it is soooo difficult (actually quite boring) Enjoy your life and do what feels right. x

  • I really missed your videos, Liz! I honestly don't mind what videos you post, whether they're beauty/fashion/skincare/diet/health related or not -- I will always watch & support everything you do! I also believe that your diet is a very personal part of your life and you should do whatever you feel is right for you at that time, don't feel like you owe anyone an explanation...you don't. This is your life & you have the right to keep parts of it private! <3 xoxo

  • @TheStyleDiet Thanks, Anna! Everything you said, right back at you!! Your support means a lot! (: xx

  • Way to go! I'm glad you listened to your body and weren't one of those stubborn people that sticks with something bad for them. I look forward to hearing more about how youre feeling with this change in your life and how your exercise is going!

  • oh i would so love to know how and why u changed ur diet. hope people r not judgmental and allow u to be open. i myself dont follow anyones diet 100%. its always best to follow our own intuition and not what we read someone advocates.

  • Good for you Liz! I know that it took a lot of courage to post this video,I'm proud of you for being honest with everyone. This is random but yesterday I looked at your page to see if you had any new videos up and one of the last ones you posted was steamed veggies and I had a intuition you might of changed your diet because you have been on the down low.Anyways Liz I completely support you! I thinking you are a amazing intelligent women.I am very eager to hear more details about this new change!

  • Way to go! I'm glad that you're keeping it real and most importantly you are teaching us to listen to our bodies. This is great:) I can't wait for your recipes!

  • YaY !!! Way to go girl. I always though that the vegan style is so grossly taxing on a body. You need balance so your body can heal and have strength and be healthy. Everyone needs protein to heal and have strength. Besides when you have no energy..how do you make love?...how do you work out? You know what I mean. Yay to the Healthy New You !!!

  • I admire your ability to change what wasn't working for you. I honestly LOVE just listening to you share your thoughts on all food, exercise, lifestyle, etc.... would ADORE if you shared more recipes, or ways to shake up your workout!!

  • Happy to hear that! I hope you feel better and better. I missed the old Liz! :)

  • Liz, I am so excited about this new chapter and being able to share it with you! Can't wait for the recipe videos. Love from Australia x

  • I admire your honesty! Thank you for updating us on your changes. There is nothing more important than listening to your body. I look forward to your future videos. <3

  • Liz, you are quality, girl!

I'd just discovered you on 30bananas...I've been doing raw fruit & veggies for three weeks...trying to reverse my fibromyalgia...I've read a ton of books & there's a wide array of opinions on diet!!!! It's so hard to know what to do - but you have the right idea - Listen to your body! God bless you & have a great half-marathon, you athlete, you!!

  • Always listen to your body :) That's what it's all about!

  • Yay Liz!!!!! So glad you're back. I love your videos so much and I'm so glad you are doing this for yourself and comfortable enough to share it with us!

  • Liz, you are a hero.

  • You are a true inspiration!

  • please make videos on eating clean

  • That's the same thing I end up doing after 3 yrs vegan & raw...eating clean is what works as a good balance FOR ME. Yes, I have a week here & there were I do almost all raw vegan, but I just do what I feel my body needs at any given time. Im so excited for you!! Thank u for your honesty. Love and much respect. God Bless you!! <3

  • Hi Liz, thanks for being so brave and honest to tell us this. I am personally very interested in the raw food diet, I'm planning to become raw vegan (at least for a while) after my baby girl is born, so I'd really like to know your insights about the diet and if you still recommend it to someone who wants to lose weight and have enough energy to deal with 2 small children. Also, what's the downside, if any? I'm glad you listened to your body, you're a smart girl and know what's best for you.

  • @mfnoriega The best advice I can give you is to listen to your body and follow the signs it gives you!! I wouldn´t discourage anyone from trying veganism or raw veganism. Try it and see what works for you! xx

  • I think what is most important is listening to your body and be happy with your lifestyle. No one should judge you, we know what's best for us :)

I love your videos, you are such an inspiration for me, you know, to stand for what you believe in. xxx love from winter wonderland ;)

  • i hope that with changing your diet you'll be better and stronger, love your videos and honesty. I'm really excited for the new videos. Wish you health and love :)

  • Good for you, girl! :) I hope you won't get all the hate Natasha (rawradianthelth) got when she decided to eat meat again! :( I liked your vids no matter and I'm not a raw dieter, I'm not even a vegetarian! It doesn't matter for me! Also, I think it happens with all of us, we make changes in our lives... and we don't have to explain it to everybody! Have a nice day! :)

  • like!

  • Hey Liz! I totally support you and I think you have the right to eat whatever diet you feel is best for you. I didnt really relate to a lot of your videos the past year or so because Im not vegan but I still watched! I would be happy to see recipes, ootd, makeup hauls and reviews again. Also I like the day in the life videos as well. So glad to see you back! xx

  • Neat, whatever you do in your vids, sure its good.I would like awesome, healthy and simple receips! thank you so much!

  • To be honest, I am really excited about this change! You inspired me to eat healthy, and I recently cleaned up my diet a lot. I have always enjoyed your videos, and I even took away from some of the raw vegan recipes. But I can't wait to see some new recipe videos of more foods that are practical for me to eat! I also really missed your beauty videos. Can't wait to see what's to come! :)

  • I support u regardless it's a given!!:))) that's how we eat clean, lean proteins, no red meat, fish, lots of veg and fruit and nuts!!:))xo

  • Glad to hear you're back! The video wasn't very clear...what are you doing now? Does this mean you are back to eating meat? I support your decision anyway and I think it takes courage to switch diets.

  • I was vegan for a while (not 100% raw though), and I think it's wonderful, but I don't think it's something that is best for my health. I know a lot of my old associates disagree with me, but oh well. I am back to being an omnivore, but still try to limit my meat consumption and avoid dairy as much as possible, and try to make sure my food sources are clean and ethical.

  • I am not a raw vegan, but I am a vegetarian. I always saw your raw vegan lifestyle updates, and would wonder how in the world does this girl do it. I can eat raw for maybe a meal or two, but I need cooked food, grains, etc. for at least one or two meals. It is still very admirable that you were able to keep it up for this long. I couldn't even do it for a day. Everyone of us can eat whatever we want, and you do not owe anyone of us an explanation.

  • sweetheart...it is NONE of anyyone's business why u changed your diet...only YOU know what is good for you.....personally, i also made some changes to my diet and have settled into a high raw, but adding in more cooked veg foods....i feel so much better than when i tried to do mostly raw :)i

  • like!

  • Thanks for your honesty! You have to live the life designed for you in all aspects and that includes your diet. Listening to your body is key! I did start watching your vids because of your raw vegan journey & I'll continue watching you as I enjoy what you have to share :)

  • i love you / your vids more than ever! i really missed you!

  • I'd love to see more video's too on how you organize your life!! You seem to work so hard and always manage to look so radiant and glowing & just keep everything running smoothly around your home & things! I really admire it! Thanks for all your video's Liz! I love them! :D

  • That is quite of a surprise, since you always told us how amazing your raw-vegan diet was! Anyway I hope your new diet makes you feel good and happy :) you don't have to explain yourself, nobody should judge you, I mean health and diet are very personal things, so as long as you fell good about yourself that's all that matters :) I'm really excited about these new recepie videos you're going to make, I can't wait and I hope you'll talk more about this new diet you're doing :)

  • I am not a raw food vegan & never had any intention to, I just find you interesting and adorable :) I'm glad you're doing what's right for you and am looking forward to recipes I can try! Xo Cate

  • Hi! you are so brave for making youtube videos, and sharing so much of your life with complete strangers! I admire you so much for that. I have a question. It's okay if you don't want to answer now because you said your diet change is very personal... But I am a low fat raw vegan, and I am debating on becoming a cooked vegan. Honestly, every time I eat something that is even mildly cooked, like blanched, I feel like I'm going to throw up. Did you have any negative side effects when you switched?

  • @dragonflyy5 Im sorry to butt in on your question to her, but I noticed u said u have a hard time eating cooked food after eating raw....thats one reason I stopped eating all raw. I noticed its just not normal to not be able to digest other things. If someone is on a lifesaving med, raw isnt going to coat the stomach for certain meds either. I found that to be true for me. I have no choice on my med. its for seizures I can die from. If u add cooked food slowly, it will help adjust.

  • Good luck with your change:) I've missed your videos!!

  • Oh yay Liz..i admit i would always be still refering to your old 'clean eating' guidelines ever since you first posted them up.. I'm so excited i can't wait for more of your videos' i missed them. :D I would like to see more health based ones like..how you do all those annoying tests everyone must do for health reasons..like going to the dentist..etc. Like how to psyche yourself up for those! I would really struggle especially if they're more personal exams. I need encouragement there. Thanks

  • I'm just happy that you are better than you were before and you are excited about it. I love all of your videos and can't wait to see them. I would love to see some videos for beginners on eating clean and recipes!

I told my grandma I wanted to do a lifestyle change for better health and your inspiration.

  • You know Liz i am happy for you that you changed your diet to be able to thrive! No matter what others say, it is your body, nobody but you knows what is best for you.. So well done on the change, keep us posted, we missed you ^^

  • congrats! i knew you'll realize this someday. Food keeps us alive and makes us happy sometimes.

  • I wil like to see more recipe videos

  • Awesome send over some of your good recipes...

  • @kaboom989 Will do! (: xx

  • You spend long time clensing your body so even if you change your diet you still gonna feel very good! Good luck and dont worry about what ppl think! It is nobody's bussines why and how you change your diet! All ppl that like you will be ok with this change and will support you no matter what! :)

  • I know that you will always follow your heart and you have to do wants right for you no matter what anyone thinks. Training for a marathon it's important to look after your body and I know you are a very intelligent woman and you will always do whats right.

Liz, you inspired me to become a vegetarian and I am also at the 1 year mark of no meat in my diet. I am so proud of you for your honest. I really look forward to seeing more beauty videos from you in the future. Good Luck! xoxo

  • @LaurenDayMakeup Yes, Lauren, have to follow my heart! (: Thanks so much for your support - means a lot! You are a true friend! xx

Good Luck! xoxo

  • I love watching your videos and honestly I think that you never needed to go raw/vegan! You were so strong, thriving, and healthy when you followed a clean diet!!! You are an inspiration and I am so glad that you are sharing that you are changing your diet - that is very brave of you to post!!!!!! I hope that everything turns out for the best. xoxo

    Natasha :)

  • I have been watching your videos every since you first started and still support you no matter what! I think its great that your listening to your body! And I'm so glad your doing well!

Hope you have an amazing weekend! God bless! <3

  • Thank you everyone for all of the support! Much love! xx

  • I'm kind of excited for your change coz I always went back to your older videos for tips on eating clean and healthy since I wasn't relating that much with the raw vegan diet!can't wait for all your new videos!good luck with your change! :)

  • for some reason my comment was removed, but I did just want to say good on you that you have decided to go back to your clean diet and that you're feeling good. It would be interesting to hear how your perception's changed about all the animal-cruelty-free aspects of the raw vegan diet and if you now eat egg and milk-based products again. Good luck!

  • We love all your videos-beauty, clothing, fitness, and recipes!

  • I understand just how you feel. I had to quit my vegeterian diet about two years ago after about one year on that diet because my body simply didn't react to it was well as i thought it was. I felt ashamed telling people that i had failed for so many reasons but mosly becuase all my family and friends didn't think that going vegiterian was good from the start. But i got over it. So don't feel bad and like you have to explain anything. It's your body, you decide, simple as that :) hugs from me :D

  • Amazing!! Good luck with the new change! I cant wait to see what your eating. You have to do whats best for you. Like one of the other comments said this will be more relatable for me too as I am not a raw vegan. I'm so excited for all your videos in the future!!!

  • Hi Liz, this is great news, I am interested in this way of eating so this is great. Love all your video's, would love to see more receipe video's & what you would eat in a day now so that I could get some new ideas. You look super healthy in this video. Glad that you are back.

  • Finally! LOL! For someone who exercise as much as you do, girl, you have to eat! Good luck!

  • Even though I always watch your videos, no matter what you upload, I honestly wasn't relating much with the raw vegan related ones, but I love watching you girl no matter what! I'm just so happy that you're thinking about your health and that you're doing well! A big kiss from Italy and if you need anything whatsoever, remember, you have a friend here! xx Sonja

  • @eipysgudps I think a tear just fell down my cheek! (: Thank you sweet, Sonja! xx

  • @PastaandPearls I love your recipe videos and vlogs. It is totally understandable why you are changing your diet. I am an advocate of clean eating and think your body will benefit from the lean protein and healthy fats. Best of luck on the new diet.

  • Hello my dear friend! I'm so glad to hear that you're listening to your body and following your instincts and I totally support you in your decision. It would be nice to hear from you, maybe later on when you're ready to share your story, what made you change your mind. I know that you were so much into low fat raw vegan lifestyle and recommending it as a source of health and energy! On your channel, I'd love to see more beauty/fashion related videos and make up tutorials, I really missed those!
