My favorite Martin Scorcese film hands down. I could relate to the whole "urban loneliness" theme. You just want to connect to someone and it's easier said than done.

shes a twelve year old prostitute, and yes this was the same year as "parent trap"...BUT she also played a gangsters wife/flapper in "bugsey malone" too that year.

@ajhulagirl she was 14 when she played in this movie which is disgusting seeing that her character was a prostitute. she played a prostitte in new york city. i love this movie but its a shame they couldnt cast the role to someone who was at least 18.

Es genial esta película. Creo que es la mejor interpretación de Robert de Niro. Es muy interesante el comportamiento de Travis, una persona que trabaja como taxista con gran cantidad de patologías como insomnio, depresión, sufre aislamiento ,estrés post-traumatico al ser un veterano del Vietnam y al final llega incluso a convertirse en un psicopata asesino.
