edmun gets auto subbed for playing one of the coolest bands in his chan. my friends all listened to Y&T and crap like Poison while i listened to punk and post industrial (whatever labels) in the states. they thought I was weird but to me this is way more entertaining and creative. But I love Y&T.. great bay area rock band. but most of those rock bands talked about love cars and american applie pie. Listening to these bands is like consuming large quantities of weird
I find it a bit odd that (considering most people get in to The mighty Fall through either Hex or some of the newer stuff) that Grotesque was the first album I bought that started my obsession. It is the album that sums up Smith's view of The Fall as 'anti-music'. Yet through snarling guitars and cheap kazoos it is infinitely fascinating. The sound gets under your skin. A great moment for a 16 year old, the opening of a confusing morass of music ready to be deciphered.
Did I mention The Fall is the best band?! Not today?! Sorry mates! Only The Fall and Birthday Party....And Swell Maps (sometimes)...

Wow! Fantastic stuff. When was this recorded? And is it your own recording?
I bought Grotesque last week and I can't get the riff from this song out of my head. Like you say, god bless The Fall!
