Another thing to concentrate on is to buy local goods and support local or nearby farmers and peeps. Also, try to live with more people so that less energy is spent per person. One household means 1 fridge, 1 washer/dryer, heating/cooling,less land occupied/person etc Instead of a lawn maybe one can use a garden on native, more drought resistant plants. And of course the worse culprit of ruining our world is car emissions. So riding a bike/walking/using public transport, carpooling is ideal.
