Seriously, the reason you're using so much ammo on all these guys is because you keep spamming the pistol from to far away. Watch the crosshairs. The faster you fire, the farther they stay apart. For better accuracy with most of the guns, put more time in between each shot.

Ok, so first off the Longsword interceptor is the traditional Halo "fighter" craft. Why we didn't see one of those in the mission perplexes me a bit. They should have been there. The Saber in itself isn't a plot hole. I can buy that ONI was experimenting with shielding for space craft. What I can't buy is that there is a full squadron of them already in place. Also it is mentioned that the project was canceled, so why are these cutting edge ships still there?

It should be there in the hands of ODSTs that you see. But it isnt.

The troopers are from the Army, not Marines. The marines wear another armor and their helemts covers their whole face. The Army troopers don't have full helemts like the marines. Halo Reach shows more Army than Marines as the Spartans are Spartan-llls and are mostly Army. (Read Ghost of Onyx) Said clearing that up for everyone.
