NIce lesson...but can you confirm that when doing the walk-downs/up, you do it on the FINAL beats of the first chord, rather than the FIRST beats of the second chord... So I presume that the first strike of the chord you are walking to is always the 1st beat of the second chord (and not the last beat of the first chord)...if that makes sense. I just want to make sure that the time it takes to do the walk-down/up is 'stolen' from the first chord's measure rather than the second....

Yes that's correct. The last beat or beats of the bar are the walk down. The first beat of the following bar would be the chord. Take care.
