Here is my problem.... every one of my files comes up as a CS file. I cannot run any programs or download any programs. The ONLY thing that works, is internet explorer...
Try in safe mode, see if that makes any difference. If not you might need to edit the file extension settings in the registry with a bootdisk or something.
When all else fails you can try an OS repair if you have the install CD.

reinstall windows. UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 7!!!!!!!
