  • @robes08 ddo you wear your cologne on your skin or on your clothes?

  • Too many people wear this now...doesnt have the same appeal anymore

  • big fan bro, bought a couple of fragrances based on your reviews, they are great, keep it going, huge help

  • The beggining of this video was awkward

  • Love the song that goes with the video, and i can understand why you used it. Your history with how u discovered JPG fits the song perfectly.....and ur right, can't go wrong with LeMale!

  • Whats up Marc ?

I have some longevity problems with my fragrances , and i was thinking you can help me out .

Fragrances don't last for a long time on my skin , for example LeMale and L'eau D'Issey last only 3 hours on my skin.

Other people get 10+ hours with these fragrances , what can i do to make them last a little longer ?

    Thanks

  • Sorry all I smelt was soap.....

  • I see you are a lakers fan :) Go Lakers

  • For such a popular fragrance, I have never smelled this on someone in my life...until I smelled it on myself this morning. I am truly awestruck, it was really true love 30 seconds into the dry down. Thank you Marc, I blind bought this thanks to the passion in your review, and now I wish I bought the big 6.7 oz bottle!

  • Hey Marc, Great Review as usual - I have tried hundreds of scents and keep coming back to this one. It is the greatest!

    Thanks

  • i looooove this scent. the only thing i don't like is how popular it is

  • Given that you are now venturing more in the niche territory. Is your nose now drifting towards the powerhouse or heavy orientals that Le Male based their design upon?

Fragrances like Jaipur Homme, Shalimar, Opium, Chanel Egoist, Must by Cartier or even Musc Ravageur?

If one likes Le Male, will like like the heavy orientals above (similarities but some people think it smells like Granda!?)

Or to ask another way, if I have one of these oldies, is Le Male not necessary?

  • Models and bottles... ;D

  • LOL 10 sprays? For the love of all hell no! ----- That's the situation where you smell a man/woman from 15 feet away in a decent sized shop.

    DON'T DO IT LOL.....

  • LOL at the dramatic opening ;)

  • hi there had a interesting experianc ele male was one of my favorite frags i have not used it for awhile put it on the first time the other day and the vanila was too strong for me ( wonders if the bottle has gone off) Has anyone else has similar experiances

  • good stuff!

  • Le Male is the absolute BEST!!! I picked up the gift set (JPG 6.7oz au de toilette spray, JPG cologne, two small bottles of JPG aftershave balm, a JPG keychain, and a JPG shower bag for accessories) for $100 American!!!! Not a bad deal!!!!!

  • Coming from years of experience using both this and Cuba, it definitely is Cuba Gold, except for floral. Cuba Gold is a decent starter kit leading up to Le Male. It's not as noxious as say, Drakkar Noir or Versace, and that's what I enjoy. I don't need to walk around with a cloud of cologne on me. *cough* High Intensity *cough*

  • what is a fujive? i hear you say it a lot

  • @Isreal4realz either your really butchering the word or I can't see what your trying to say but i can't help ya

  • @robes08 Oriental Fujive? something like that, what is fujive? I'm pretty sure im spelling it wrong.

5:29-5:30 is where you said it

  • @robes08 at 5:31 your saying ... not sure what... but that is what they are asking about

  • @robes08 hes talking about the thing you said on 5:36

  • @robes08 yes you do robes as in "this is a fresh fujive fragrance." and i think he did a fairly decent job.

  • @bjclue871 fougere is the correct term and spelling.

  • Respond to this video… @ 5:38, and a few seconds before that you said it!

  • @robes08 I think he is talking about what you say at 5:38. It kinda sounds like "Fujive is a winner for me". I am not sure what you were saying there either....great review though! I bought Le Male blind based off of this review and LOVE it! So does my wife!

  • @Isreal4realz fougere not fujive :D

  • Comment removed

  • @Isreal4realz lol.....Fougere not fujive

  • @Isreal4realz I think you meant "fougere", which means "fern-like" in French. It refers to a scent that's slightly sweet on top and woody down-low

  • @Isreal4realz its fuji i believe and if im right it mean floral.

  • @Isreal4realz FOUGERE This fern or forest note comes from lavendar from the South of France, labdanum resin from Spain, coumarin taken from the bean of tonka trees grown in Venezula, bergamot and geranium oil from the Island of Reunion. Typically, there are also citrus and tobacco notes. Found in Canoe, Paco Rabanne for Men, Monsieur Givenchy and Kouros.

  • too strong for school? Btw I live in Finland so its cold 3/4 of the year here :D

  • Considering how much you like this cologne. I'm surprised you don't have that massive 200ml bottle of it.

  • Could you please tell me why male colognes always have EDT, some have parfum word on it etc and what is the difference between a EDP and EDT

  • which is stronger and last longer... le male or fleur de male

  • Hello,I think you did a amazing job on this video even though you did review this cologne when you first started out.

  • just ordered this ..i should be getting it soon

  • Is this as powdery as brit?

  • @warriordiscus7 it's in the same vein, more of a flowery/sweet powder

  • If youre going to school, are 2 sprays (on one the neck and one on the chest) too much?Really need to know, Thanks.

  • @Rickaka1 not too much just perfect

  • @Rickaka1 Probably even one GOOD spray will suffice... Believe me, when you wear le male everyone knows lol. It's better to wear not too much and be subtle about it.

  • thanks for another great review. Got this one coming in the mail. Keep up the good work!

  • the best u and tim

  • I learn alot from you about the colognes ! thanks

  • dude...you would look alot better if you kept a clean shave. Just my opinion

  • such an epic introduction lol. good stuff.

  • dayyyum sooon

  • Men, you're the best!!!

  • I watched it again!

    keep it up bro

I always look forward to your videos everytime i go on youtube

  • Nice review bro

  • To add to that, Le Male is the like the Air Jordan XI's (for sneaker heads) to me. Many love it, many hate it. It's just one of those things an enthusiast of designer scents should have at least a bottle just for the sake of having it. I do think those Space Shuttle Jordans are hideous though. LOL.

  • @imprezzy Space "Jam" Jordans? Jordan XI's are the most sought after/popular J's ever. Thats why the retro them once every 7-8 yrs PLUS they sell out in minutes. IMO the best looking jordans made. I digress....great fragrance

  • Congrats Marc! You and Tim changed the cologne game here. You've got dudes checking out stuff like Versace Eau Fraiche, Versace The Dreamer, La Nuit De L'Homme, Paco Rabanne One Million, Pure Malt, etc. because of your reviews. Folks who are new to this are actually stepping out of the box. You guys may not be Chandler Burr, but you guys are just like any one of us and those opinions mean a lot man.

  • Definitely a must try for anyone serious about colognes. In my winter rotation for about 5 years now. Keep 'em coming Marc!

  • bought le male twice both times it gave me a migraine. looks like i got to give this second one to my friend. i like it when i pass by and smell it but on me i get a migraine. =( but 5 stars for your work.

  • I like how you are changing locations.

  • very beastly introduction there, Marc.

still very interested in this fragrance.

  • \m/o_o\m/

  • Congrats on the 50 reviews!

I wore this fragrance (and ONLY this fragrance) for about a solid 7 or 8 years. Through high school and undergrad, in class and when working, I wore Le Male. I think if you stick to 1 spray in those situations, it is perfectly fine and nothing to be scared of.

  • Awesome review. Glad you did a second review of Le Male. I still need to get this one!

Congrats for the 100 videos and 50 reviews! Looking forward to vidoes for 2010

  • As a long time subscriber I actually love that you reviewed Le Male again. I was actually hoping you would do it just last week! Now that you are comfortable reviewing and have your format established it's great to hear your opinion on a classic.

  • Superb review. Also wanted to comment on the fishtank. What kind of fish do you have?

  • When u say 1 spray, do u mean 1 on the chest or 1 on the neck?

  • Anither great reveiw man and i hope to see alot more in 2010,and defiantly on Creeds and Bond No 9.!.!.!

  • but does the whole french canadian connection have an influence on why it's ur fave?

  • Yeah, keep it up!!!

  • Congrats on the 50th review man

  • Congrats and keep up the good work Marc!

  • Congrats on the 50th marc! ive been watching since your first review, and might have actually been one of your first views lol, but i love what your doin marc, keep it up!
