@CradleofNightwish That's the hook from the original Turrican soundtrack.

I remember when I first heard this version, way back when, I thought it was going to be a light remix of the original but then it erupted with those gorgeous strings. It is so well sequenced with the storyboards of the intro too.

I love all 3 Turrican tracks from the Amiga days but this is my favourite. Just!

Third comment I know but this piece of music is that amazing. It sends a chill up and down my spine and gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. So beautiful for game music. I would almost expect to hear something that sounded like this in a soundtrack for an 80's sci-fi b-movie.

They also don't release games on floppies or cassettes anymore. I can't imagine how unusual it would be to run a game from something I only know of listening to music from. I never knew about data cassettes and I'm 24, old enough to have seen some unusual data storage methods.

It's a shame that we have not seen a port of this to the PS3 or PSP even x360 but I believe alot of the reasons for this is that rainbow arts is not around anymore and factor 5 is super small now after the money problems it faced earlier in the year.

I love that music !

in 2000 i played an MMORPG (AC) and i named one of my chars "Chris Huelsbeck ", .. he made the turrican 2 amiga music, and i offten loaded the game just to listen to it's musics :)
