What you referred to as the "american" power cable is in fact a cable with the standard EU power plug which is used in most european countries - other than the UK, that is. But thanks for showing it, now I know that it's included.

Kinda a neat idea. Internal 5.25" amp that you can put in your case and power from your PSU. I've never seen that before but I kinda like it!
