@outpowspo Probably, but a 2 stroke engine for this kind of machines are the best in my opinion, I like the new line of trimmers with low emission 2 stroke engines.
@Parker4321 No Stihl is with a Honda engine, this is a two-stroke engine, one of the best and most produced by stihl, they have 4-mix engines now in the brushcutter line, from FS-87 to FS 310, it uses fuel like a two stroke engine but works like a four stroke, you have information on the web. Honda is a full 4-stroke engine, and what I hear maybe the best 4-strokes out there, but for me nothing beats a good 2-stroke engine.
@Response166 stihl does not make their own engines, just like husqvarna they use either mahle, gilardoni or kawasaki components. mahle + gilardoni combos are considered supreme
its not a Brushcutter. Only a grasscutter. FS 480, 500, 550 is a brushcutter.

Stihl didn't use honda, however they did use redmax/zenoah engines pre 4-mix. Redmax must be good if stihl used it.

87,90,100,110,130, and 310 are the ones that use the 4-mix. The FS-250 is a 2-stroke motor...I'm buying one next year. It has a 40.2cc motor

@Jon3800 Yes that is a beast, has the same engine as FS 350, the 350 has bike handles and anti-vibe system, no grass or bush should be a problem :)

Yup I can't believe it costs $300 more to upgrade from a 250 to a 350. They have the same motor and power rating.
