teargas isnt lethal. it is used often by antiterrorists etc. very good in hostage situations. when breathing the gas, your nose and eyes gets very runny, so u gets almost blind in a few seconds. becides, an easier recipe is chlorin in one bottle taped to a bottle with the right catalyst. that is teargas. but if you do it wrong u can get mustard gas or disfosgen which was common used during the first world war. so dont do it, or buy an M-61 gas mask which is cheap but good
