Keep in mind when listening to this on his last tour with Fleetwood Mac, they toured with The Dead (or somewhere near the end, I can't remember). He stated that he was very strongly influenced by their free-form jams, and you can clearly hear it here. I love this stuff, it's some of my favorite Peter Green material. He was definitely headed in a different direction, not to mention all the other stuff he had going on at this point.

This to me sounds like where the genius of Peter Green is dying. It makes me feel so sad, that arguably the greatest blues man of all time should end up like this. It wasn't really just Hendrix that died that year.

I saw Peter Green with Fleetwood Mac a few times,,,Never heard him play this though. I still have this album...Good Shit..

Oh come on. No comments on one of the most influential jazz/blues fusion savants to ever exist, Peter Green? He started Fleetwood Mac. Then the girls came and ruined the whole band. Fucking album is entirely instrumental. Very brave endeavor for a first time artist during that time. Peter Green.
