Considering that everybody in Hollywood is making a bagillion different versions of the same stories, they should just go ahead and make the movie already.

Anyone know what happens with the movie? btw..will the movie be played in real-life characters style or animated if it is made?

The books are about Wonderland being a real world, not just a silly made up place from a child's imagination. So, if they used aminated characters, it kinda backfires and reduces the whole story.
PS The story is definietly worth reading. You wont regret it.

this book is amazing, it is truly the truth and not the myth. i heard that the writer for alice in wonderland was high when writing the book (which is probably true, especially with smoking caterpillers, the cat, and card soldiers? probably playing poker when high). other than that can't wait for a movie and the third book!
He wasn't high. The idea might have come from one of his own dreams. Dreams are often like that.
I agree that Looking Glass Wars is an amazing book, but please don't put down Carroll's (or Dodgson's whatever you want to call him) version.
Also something funny, in Alice in Wonderland, Dodgson is caricatured as the Dodo. He was known as the Dodo because Dodgson stuttered when he spoke, thus if he spoke his last name it would be Do-Do-Dodgson. :)

It is also a book. Look it up on Amazon. The series is great, the comic is what happens over the 13 years Hatter spent looking for Alyss. The books follow Alyss.

It's okay if Frank Beddor states that in the book, and admits that he did make it up in interviews and such, but he blows it out of proportion and goes and says "It's the real thing" both in and out of the story. Which can mislead many. And it's really irritating.

this is all wrong. Lewis Carrol was believed to be a pedofile, because he tried to marry a 13 year old girl named alice. he even wrote a peom about her that spelled out her name when read properly. Lewis Carroll was also, believed to have a mental condition that is similair to the effects of taking drugs.
...And Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old third-cousin, yet no one calls him a pedophile. hmmm. Proof that a singer DID in fact have a thing for a little girl, and speculation that a children's author might have liked children, with no evidence supporting it.
He was close to Alice Liddell's family- everyone in it. She was the one that got him to write down the story he'd told her- about Alice's adventures. For God's sake, nothing has been proven as far as anything you mentioned, except the poem, which hardly implies he loved the girl.
Hell- there are some people that think Lewis Carroll was freakin' Jack the Ripper. Don't believe speculation.

Frank Beddor said he wanted to bank on Carroll's book, as a form of revenge. He claims Wonderland bored him as a small child, I say he was a stupid child. Wonderland is never boring.
Not bad, but a wee bit on the braggy side. And why are the March Hare, the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon in it when they don't have any LGW equivalents?

this is all wrong. Lewis Carrol was believed to be a pedofile, because he tried to marry a 13 year old girl named alice. he even wrote a peom about her that spelled out her name when read properly. Lewis Carroll was also, believed to have a mental condition that is similair to the effects of taking drugs.

...And Jerry Lee Lewis married his 13 year old third-cousin, yet no one calls him a pedophile. hmmm. Proof that a singer DID in fact have a thing for a little girl, and speculation that a children's author might have liked children, with no evidence supporting it.

He was close to Alice Liddell's family- everyone in it. She was the one that got him to write down the story he'd told her- about Alice's adventures. For God's sake, nothing has been proven as far as anything you mentioned, except the poem, which hardly implies he loved the girl.
Hell- there are some people that think Lewis Carroll was freakin' Jack the Ripper. Don't believe speculation.

This the historic Wonderland and the truth about Alyss Heart and not the Lewis Carol Parody that he made a novel for kids but the historic fact of Wonderland.
There is no Turtle and Gryphon these where made up silly creatures for his fictional novel. if you knew the truth about time travel and alternet planes of existence you can understand what I am talking about.

Frank Beddor said he wanted to bank on Carroll's book, as a form of revenge. He claims Wonderland bored him as a small child, I say he was a stupid child. Wonderland is never boring.
