I wonder if hilah it's a huge fan of the tv show "New Girl", because she's acting or copying from that girl in the show...by the way...good video!! lol
Looks good but let's "meat" this puppy up. Vegans care deeply for bees and cows and don't want to "use" the gifts these animals provide, but they have no problem with the brown people who pick their vegetables for far less than minimum wage. No that's fine to them. :-)
Would you people please just look up Vegetarianism on Wikipedia.
"Vegetarianism encompasses the practice of following plant-based diets (fruits, vegetables, etc.), with or without the inclusion of dairy products or eggs, and with the exclusion of meat"
"A vegan diet excludes all animal products, including eggs, dairy, and honey."
Fact is, this is a vegetarian lasagna.
If you are a vegetarian that don't eat eggs, leave them out. If you don't eat dairy products make something else entirely.
I live an hour east of Nashville.. I used to live in Nashville, I too was in a band. I am now a single mom/artist living in Smithville, TN my hometown... you are welcome to come anytime! Thanks for all the recipes you rock!
@pinklovergirl05 Not sure where you're from, but in the US it's widely accepted that vegetarians do eat dairy and eggs, but vegans don't eat any animal products.
I don't know how much you've helped to save the planet by not boiling the sheets first, since you then have to cook the lasagna for longer in the oven.
Hilah and tetriscomplications vegetrarian do not eat eat Eggs, meat, fish or flesh of any kind. Vegans do not consume animal products milk, or its products plus they are vegeterians. hilah now you need to please redefine our title.
@junk1kim Hi! I see that you are in India. I guess you have a different definition of vegetarian than we do in the US. In the US, it's widely assumed that vegetarian means no meat or fish, but eggs and dairy are acceptable. Vegan means no eggs or dairy either. Sorry for the confusion but honestly if you wanted to just leave the egg out it probably wouldn't make much of a difference.
Love the pan! Now, throw in a pound or two of ground round, and this can be seriously mind blowing. Yeah, I know, not vegetarian. Let them eat leaves, give me animal fat and cholesterol. And garlic... :-)
be honest...how many whiskies? i won't stage an intervention...promise. you also forgot the meat. have fun and remember to floss after every meal. peace.
Nowwww, I'm gonna have some Whiskeyyyy!!! Hilah, I don't boil my lasagna noodles either -- people are so annoying thinking you must follow the Traditional way of doing everything! Sometimes yes Traditional is great but other time just improvise and make a recipe your own -- I see the comments they make and always correcting you on this that and the other and I just shake my head and say obviously they have NO cooking skills!
YEAH, FUCK BOILING NOODLES! SAVE THE PLANET :D lol. I'm going to make this looks so good. And I've never tried to make lasagna without meat so this is going to be interesting :)
Cold and rainy or Cold and snowing. Looks good :) but I think you should call it meatless lasagna because Vegans tend to say your not a true vegetarin if you eat any meat product or anything that comes from animals. I'm actually trying to figure out a name for the people who don't eat certin things but I've blanked on it. I actually rambled about it in a vlog of mine lol.
Delicious!!! You could be Lisa Kudrow's baby sister! But, you look like you could be Martha Stewart's granddaughter in your profile picture!! ha! Love your show :-)
Looks great, Hilah. I've never done a veggie lasagna before. I have a problem with lasagna. I don't know when to stop eating it. Oink!
Thumbs up to Joe! That pan looks perfect for lasagna one day, and roasted chicken with potatoes and veggies the next. I'm used to using cheapo 50 cent disposable aluminum pans. :>D
@ZombiedustXXX Oh no! I was using a really banged up old aluminum pan (not disposable, though) and Joe noticed and would not have it! I can't wait to use it for everything in the oven!
I love watching your recipes but most of all your personality, it reminds me of my best friend in the 80's. Your awesome, thanks for sharing!

why is the sauce so watery?

@zackboomer Because the noodles go in uncooked. They will absorb all the liquid and cook in the oven.
