An instructable got me to googling elenco, which led me here. The schematic and parts list are in the instructable, however, there's no information on the transformers, other than how they're wired, (parallel in, series out) and that the input is 12V and the output is 2Kv. so if I"m going to try to duplicate this schematic, I"ll need 2 transformers that when wired the other direction will have a 120V input and a 1.44 V output?
@Electorials The camera is picking up a lot of the light from the tube. In person it's not nearly as bright as the video makes it appear. However, it still looks really awesome.

I must say that the tube seems to give more light than the dot itself :/
does it also look like that in real life?
