See I love Billy Talent, they're an amazing band. But i'm not sure of this song is supposed to complimenting or insulting youth. Is Ben trying to inspire a riot or condone it. Because the Red flag represents socialism/communism. At the end of the video they're destroying books and eventually wearing soviet gas masks. And in other songs Billy Talent stresses finding truth through knowledge. Please reply, with thoughts.

@offspringalldaway Neither, i feel like Ben is trying to say the youth is the freedom. As we become older we fit into society and begin to accept things and lose ourselves to become one of the many. Along with the age comes the government and corruption of the government. The youth here is trying to bring back individuality and overthrow the corruption. That's sort of how I see it anyways.

In the video, the red flags symbolize the things that the "kids of tomorrow" should repair. It ain't has connection to communism. The gas masks at the and mean that the world is poisonous and must be changed.
