    Not worth it.

Tower Of Power is worth it.

  • Front row in orlando

  • @AlwaysGettingHopOns That must have been awesome. I play many instruments, bass being my forte, and I've always regarded this bass line as being one of the funkiest, movingest, jumpingest down right badass basslines ever!! Horn section is so tight. The only one besides BS&T and AWB is a band called Chase.

  • Thank you much...!!

  • One of the best videos I've ever seen on YouTube!!!! Simply AMAZING!

  • Less of the crowd and more of the band ffs

  • This is sick!

  • That groove is intoxicating.

  • It's so funky I just can't help myself......OUTRAGEOUS......these guys combine the rare talent of being deferential to the RIP master James Brown keeping by him alive in the original grooves they write, then slam a bit of original SOUL POWER right in the middle when you're least expecting it.....funny thing is, the segue doesn't even feel like a segue, because they are sooooo close to the groove anyway......I don't have the words to descride how good this is.

  • Roccooooooooo!

  • Is that Cassandra Wilson at 4:31?

  • woot garibaldi

  • cool shirt the singer's got!

  • this is how groove is done

  • Joy!

  • This is hip, when the bass and drums can drive the the funk while keeping is relaxed is

    sophisticated funk at it's finest...

  • Is it possible a band that's been around so long could get better and better??? This is freaky awesome!

  • This is the definition of funky groove .

  • GARIBALDI

    the groovy master!!!!

    Fantastic

  • I hit Play on this video and it dropped 20 Degrees in seconds. Gave me the chills! Freakin Great!!!

  • Tower of Power RULES!

  • Garibaldi...

  • Amazing rhythm section, Amazing horn section.....

  • Still Killin' it... after 40+ years. They are playing in Greenville SC on 6/5/12. I am so totally going. Even if I have to beg, borrow or steal the $36 for a ticket.

  • organ player is on point, but he's no chester thompson

  • @drnubian Not sure what you mean by, 'He's no Chester Thompson?' Wasn't aware that Mr. Thompson played keys, thought only drums/percussion. Or are we talking about someone else here?

  • @NIKONGUY1960 chester thompson the keyboard player, look him up. he plays with santana now.

  • @NIKONGUY1960 I am now the wiser. Thanks for that.

  • @drnubian i know what you say, but what about bobby sparks? or keys... dammit... forgot the name...

  • So freakin' tight it's scary! Garibaldi's technique is impeccable and what Mic Gillette does by so effortlessly switching back and forth between the trombone and trumpet should not be overlooked. The only time I've been able to see them live up until this point was truly a musical experience of a lifetime! THIS is hip!

  • epic guy at 0:50 !

  • This is hip

  • Ey Rick, great post. Do you have the complete DVD?

  • Is that a 'Burst? As in, an original?

  • that is some sick guitar playing by jerry cortez, someone who hasn't had much credit. better than harper imo. great vid btw! :)

  • So you became a part of a new breed, smokin' only the best weed.

  • A new GURU to find ya a new you!!
