I ride drive/ride 3000 miles a month here and less than 25% of bikes I see a month are sportbikers, and probably only 5% or less of those do stunts on the street. To get your M rating on your license you take a 'skills' test. To me a wheelie is just another skill on a motorcycle.

(We have three...two teens and one adult. Never did we have the in-car issues. But, some do allow it to be distracting.) Still...the wheelie on a public roadway is just intentionally reckless. @FireSarge30 Legal and Illegal is just words on a paper that are made up based on people general feelings on what is right and wrong. Someone decided wheelies are 'illegal' on what basis? To get your permit to ride a motorcycle you don't even have to prove you know how to ride. So they give you legal permission when possibly they don't even know how to use the brakes, dangerous. To get your M rating on your license you take a 'skills' test. To me a wheelie is just another skill on a motorcycle.

If a new person was simply just learning to ride it would be far more dangerous for them to be on the street than a seasoned veteran doing a wheelie on the street. The amount of motorcyclist hit by cars odds far outweighs motorcyclist crashing while doing stunts. Also, the majority of stunts in this vid they were on roads all alone, dead end roads or with no cars on their side of the divider, watch it
