  • A Clean&Press is a power clean and then pressing overhead, guys this "tutorial" doesnt show a good clean, its explosive from the hips! this is just a shitty upright row with even shittier rack position

  • @Doncanutcho Yeah, too much upright rowing in that, it's not how I do my clean and presses and I do 100kg.

  • Fantastic tutorial!

  • I hate this excerise... it is hella dangerous

  • @Athrun000 Let me guess, you also think deadlifts always wreck your back, and squats always explode your knees

  • @Gebruikersbewi Squat is AWESOME...!

  • nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Thats the best tuorial of a clean and press ive ever seen.(on youtube)

  • @zk3ltd ... You need to look harder then.

  • you should film it from saggital view also

  • Dude. Be gone with the .mpg in the title, it makes it look like your mom uploaded the video. Thats lame!

  • @BlueBoden who cares? it's a damn good tutorial!

  • @OHHYESSAHH Man it was a joke.

  • I've just started Max-OT and this exercise is included in the third phase. This tutorial has helped me out a lot! Thanks!

  • I have noticed that there is a slight bend in your knees before the press movement.

Is it ok to do a push press (knees bent before press movment).

  • It's an AMAZING compound exercise if you ask me. Thanks for this tut!

  • It's kind of a deadlift with press, I want to start doing them but I dont have enough confidence.

  • then try using lighter weights and gradually build up.

  • @hdrevolution123 im 14 and im not jacked but im pretty strong i do this excersise with 44 pounds and a weighted vest of 25 pounds because i just started is this alright for me?

  • @rphilmacrac well for a 14 year old those weights are way too much for you. But i don't know your weight so it could be alright for you. If you're a large person, keep on doing it but don't increase the weight size. If you're an average sized person (medium height and a weight between 100 and 145 pounds, you shouldn't do it because your joints and spine aren't designed to handle the weights at this stage.

TRUST ME, it will either stunt your growth or just injure you too much

  • @hdrevolution123 im aroud 5 foot 4 or 3 and i weight like 143 so you you think i shouldnt do it and if i shouldnt then wat other excersises cant i do. can i do the good morning excersise or the barbell bent over row. i need to work on my back please reply

  • @rphilmacrac Dude, these exercises are AMAZING. Do them but not with those weights! Just remove a lot of the weight plates on your barbell to a fairly manageable level. Your reps should be between 6-12 but it should not be harder than that- definitely don't put so many weights that you fail before 5! I used to be 5ft4 and 14 years old and I started off boasting large weights but I was close to injury. Keep it at around 30-37 pounds of weight for now

  • @hdrevolution123 so do u think 44lbs and 4 sets of 6 reps is ok for me then? i got a fight coming up and i wanna do my best so i wanna strengthen my enitre body i do squats, concentration curls, bicep curls, barbell pushes, good mornings, and then various pushups, crunches, and sit ups do u think u can give me any tips. like im scared of the good morning excerises and now of this one so wat should i do. please reply

  • @rphilmacrac You can't increase your strength so quickly for a fight coming up soon. This is a gradual process. The optimum strength gain tech is what I suggested for you 44lb 4 sets 6 reps. Good mornings are hard so if you're scared of doing them, don't do them until you gain more strength. Besides, it's not the best exercise so missing it out won't make much a difference.

  • @hdrevolution123 yea i no ive been working out for a longer time than just a couple weeks but if ur traning your abs then you have to train your back, right? so can you give me a different excersise for the back

  • @rphilmacrac Rows. Bent-over rows. Youtube search it. Also wide-grip chinups are very effective.

  • @hdrevolution123 but can i still do the clean and press and good morning beacuse im scared of them but i still wish to do them so do you think 44lbs is ok for now

  • @rphilmacrac clean and push press isn't dangerous, just tiring. I think good morning is the one to keep away from if you're scared of doing it.

  • @hdrevolution123 so when my back gets stronger from the bent over row do u think i should start doing the good morning

  • @rphilmacrac not just your back. Your biceps, your shoulders and your chest too

  • @hdrevolution123 yea i no i an excersise for every muscles but the good morning is a back muscle and hey wat if i use a lifting belt

  • @rphilmacrac lifting belts only make things worse at your age if its too heavy. Keep lifting weights to a minimum

  • @hdrevolution123 how bout 50 lbs clean and press and like 40 or 34lbs good morning

  • @rphilmacrac WHat have I just told you? Don't use heavy weights. 50lbs is too much >_>

  • @hdrevolution123 yea but i wanna gain muscle so then 34 o 40?

  • @rphilmacrac 34-38. You build muscle over time; not injure yourself now.

  • @hdrevolution123 alright man thanks for your help i might need more help for later tht ok?

  • @hdrevolution123

using weights does not stunt your growth...if it did then u shouldn't carry books back packs or heavy luck boxes either everyday...it actually increases hormone production.

  • @jwells2327 Yeah only with research did I LATER find out that. That's why I lift heavier now without a fear, heavy enough not to injure my muscles though :P.

THe only things that stunt your growth in reality are steroids, some dodgy supplements and genetics that make you become shorter as you age :P

  • thanks for this video, before i was doing them a little bit wrong but this helped me a lot thanks again
