My Egyptian Mau does the same thing (I actually have similar videos posted). When I come back in the evening, she will somehow hear me coming down the street, wake up, and start meowing at the door to tell me how she missed me. :)

she miaws soo adorable so clear and they are a very talk alike species i got one to but she misses the spots on the back,but she has the M on her head and the eye lines the vetenerian sayd she has only 5 specific points out of 7 so she is not fully a maw her moms owner say that the father wass a sealpoint but i dunno shes cute and shes mine ;)

@UnggoyProductions Yeah they ARE *imo* the cutest cats, not because of their rarity or coats but their EYES make them look a bit pouty. But they're cute. As far as purchasing one, it depends on the Breeder, Type, Age, and whether or not they are the Sire or Patriarch or what have you, they got 5 known colors of MAU. They can go from 400$(avg) to 1500$(pedigree show cat, usually silver coat).

I just got 2 Mau's GIVEN TO ME from Kijiji. I'm so lucky! They both have the pedigree certificates and the female has actually won Canadian competitions at cat shows. They are both 4 now. These are our first family pets and after doing a ton of research on them I can't imagine a better breed of cat for our family! I love These Mau's personalities.
