  • I would fit the Kelly controller down underneath the motor between the belly pan. Where it will be cooled more effectively. More importantly, you have GOT to keep them motor leads short. ;)

With a good race bike CD of 0.6 and with so little power at speed, its not good enough. Grab a couple of aerodynamicists for the faring. The rules have been changed for TTXGP. They will make you win that race.

    All the best.

  • Did this bike start out life as a Honda Spada?

I think I recognise the mudguards...

  • range?

  • @JayOhEnEnWhyEx Not much range due to taking 158A on a 30AH Batt. Not seen the film?

You must understand its a race bike. Needs to be light. Its no tourer in race mode!

  • nice work with the outrigger bearing taking overhung radial load off the motor.

    good work

there is alot of attrocious EV work out there , yours is not too bad :))

  • the new 14ah lifebatts are they the same weight as the 10ah

what about the price of a 48v 14ah pack?

    im interested in buying

    thanks

  • HI rainstormaeroponics , the 14Ah cell has already been superseded by our cell engineers. We have taken the decision to wait for the new cells to be ready, rather than release the 14Ah for a short period. The new cells are in testing and will be released only when they have been throughly proven. It is possible that you will see TTXGP bikes with these new cells! Motorsport has always been used to test the very latest technology. Cheers, Ian

  • thanks ian

    for your reply

    kinda makes sense to wait

i may have to get a ping batt for the time being until these new battery's are ready

im using sla at the mo and there useless and heavy

what sort of time are we looking at this year or next?

i use my bike for off roading and i use a fair bit of power

  • HI rainstormaeroponics , they should be solid in about three months. Cheers, Ian

  • Prof Brandom ! Why not use a beltdriven transmission ? It's more power efficient and goes nice with a silent bike like this.

  • he said if u watched :)

  • This is a good question and one we have considered. However, there are packaging issues with this due to the wiedth required to transmit the torque being delivered by the motor.
