Just for the heck of it, I looked up how much an Emriates economy-class ticket would cost if I flew from San Francisco to Delhi. 7800 dollars!!! For economy!!! Most other carriers generally cost around 1200 - 1500 dollars for economy. And you're flying the same distances and the times are also about the same.

Emirates - looks great but not for that price.

@Amar7605 Taking into account that Emirates is slightly more expensive than the others, and there's a layover in Dubai, because there are no direct Emirates flights from San Francisco to Delhi it's pretty much acceptable. Plus the service on board all their aircraft is utterly amazing, so the money's worth it.

@Amar7605 The price you quoted is business class. I just checked online now and found a flight in economy on the 7th of March, returning on the 28th of March costs 1266 dollars. Pretty good value to me.

@HF1DRES Yeah something was wrong with the website when I last checked the prices. It didn't make sense to me, and I checked it twice! 1266 dollars is definitely a good price. The problem, however, is the schedule. Flying to Delhi is fine, but when you're coming back you have to spend the night in Dubai. So, even though you're paying 1300 dollars for the ticket you're probably going to have to pay for a hotel room.

i went 2 dubai 2 catch my flight ,so am waiting at my gate for about 3 hours when all of a sudden i had been informed that my plane had taken off 4 hous ago.i had been at gate number 10 or some shit because thats what it said on my ticket, but no i was meant 2 wait at gate number 5. they tell me that the next flight takes off around 6pm the next day and so i need a place 2 stay for the night . and they were ment to pay for the hotel because it was their fault, but i paid and paid for a ticket

Great airline? Ask the fuckers if they will guarantee you a seat in economy they won't I had a fat bastard leaning on me from BKK-DXB 7 fuckung houes because he could not sit with the armrest lowered. Try it they will not gurantee you all of your seat. They used to charge £ 70 to alter the return leg of the flight as they are the same as the parent company Dubai itself bankrupt now a very modest £432 fuckers.
