You might wish for better quality recording on Tales From Thousand Lakes but you also gotta remember what a fucking breath of fresh air that album was when it appeared - it was revolutionary and it was really fucking exciting, and no matter how much more polished the sound is, Ensiferum's cover won't be able to evoke the same kind of feelings for people that remember the original in that way. No mistake, though, this is a great version too, it just has its own charms.
