  • You need to go to their website to get the measurement! :) I made them, they taste just like the professionals! But the crunch type. :)

  • How much is a cup in grams? (Dutch kid is trying to make some delicious cookies!!!)

  • IM HUNGREH

  • what are the measurements for the ingridients??

  • YES! you can get the same consistency with a manual whisk like what I did! It turned out PERFECT. :)

  • Hi can I ask? If I use a normal whisk for mixing the ingredients up, will I be able to reach the cookie dough's consistency?

  • @gracebelieber You can whisk by hand but it takes alot of effort, hence the wonderful invention of the blender. I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer but you can get hand mixers for just 20 or 30 bucks. The idea is to blend the butter and sugar into a 'creamy' mixture. That's why you want room temperature butter to begin with.

  • Oh god that looks good

  • These cookies are amazing! It's like the famous amous cookies! I'm serious!

  • i made mine yesterday by using this recipe, turned out great but i added my twist to it, apart from choc chips i added walnuts, shredded coconut and grated rind of orange...mmmmmm

  • Good morrning, i'm italian and i looking for the recipe of american cookies. I like so much your recipe, but i have a question: what is baking soda? Is it a yeast? Can i use cakes yeast? Thank you for answer and i'm sorry for my english.

  • @The050301 Baking soda is a leavening agents and you can substitute baking powder though the taste may change a bit and you'd want to use a bit more than the recipe called for.

  • Those people who are looking for the measurements for this recipe, go to the website that is given in the description box. Hope I helped. :)

  • they look sooooo good! i wish i knew the exact measurements she is using.... she never mentioned it.??

  • @TheTexmext A link to the printable recipe is just under the video player if you hit the "show more" link.

  • I made them and i added salt, and it turned out to be the saltiest sweet i've ever tasted !! why is that?

  • @ItsGirlsPrivateTime I am guessing here but; it was probably because butter is already salted, unless you get 'unsalted' butter. Most recipes call for just 1 teaspoon of salt to be added, but you could leave it out.

  • LaTripper

Thanks so much for the tip. :)

  • Hey9846

it's what differienciates a sugar cookie from a chocolate chip cookie. you wont get the same flavor if you omit it.

  • May I know what the brown sugar is for? Is it optional?

  • I WAAAAAAAAAAANT THEM :O

  • @DAIO12345 So cool to see Cookie Monster watched our video. I'm a fan!

  • get me the recipe

  • could u get me one

  • scrumptious..i should say...thanks for your recipe...

  • you only filled a small bit of the glass with milk?

  • @Ryaaaannnn1 That's just what was left after we drank from it with that first warm cookie.

  • Your voice sounds like female Siri XD

  • Nice I like it!

  • what will happen if i don't add the baking soda? cause there is no such thing in supermarkets in my country o.O

  • @Kotryna591 You can easily substitute baking powder. For every 1 tsp of baking soda you can use 4 tsp of baking powder instead.

  • @Kotryna591 then the cookies wont rise but you can use baking powder and where do u live???

  • @MegaReyad yes, i used baking powder and everything was ok. i live in lithuania ( north east of europe).

  • I bet that cookie dough is soooo good!

  • great method, great video, great demo, great voice!

  • mine dose't spread they rise without refrigerating too every time. Can u helpplz.

  • they fail and you know why

  • fleur de sel is bullshit! i learned it in chemistry: the only difference between fleur the sel and regular salt is that fleur the sel are the remains of sea water put in tiny squares, waiting to evaporate and regular salt is just wsea water they put in a big well.

  • OHHHH!!! why do mine not look like that????

  • @MadamPiki It could be a few things: The type of oven( do you have an electric stove ), maybe its the temp( you may want to lower the temp if you have an electric stove ), or it could be the type of cookie sheet!

  • They look DELICIOUS!

  • Wait , so how much of each do you need?

  • Yum! I like watching this just because the cookie dough looks so yummy. I would definitely make a batch if I had time though, these look so easy to make!

  • How many days can i keep the dough until it is not usable ?

  • @CHICKABOOMMYFLAME If you freeze it you can keep it for months.

  • not a good video

  • How Many butter? plz

  • @KojacGirl There is a link to the text recipe that you can print out under the video above if you hit the "Show More" link. Enjoy.

  • @rouxbe Ooh I had not seen! Sorry and thank you!

  • can i substitute allpurpose flour with wheat flour???

  • @vinsy89 You can but you'll get a different end product. Probably a super tasty one just the same.

  • I need measurements

  • @chumboy87 There is a link to the text recipe that you can print out under the video above if you hit the "Show More" link.

  • @chumboy87 There is a link to the text recipe that you can print out under the video above if you hit the "Show More"

  • can i use baking powder as a substitute for baking soda?

  • @MissLilPopstar In theory you can since they are both levelling agents but you'll get a different end product.

  • If I use salted butter, can I pass the salt?

  • @Marderouvi never use salted butter... you can't control how much salt goes in there.

  • For those of us that prefer no sugar and no butter, I have a recipe for chocolate chip cookies on my channel (in comments).

  • They look amazing :0

  • Comment removed

  • can i use saLted butter?..

  • @BaLxPeN If you don't mind salty chocolate chip cookies you could but you'll only ever try it once.

  • why does your voice sound like a robot

  • the best cookie recipe i made !

  • @rouxbe is it going to be chewy. Because i love chewy ones

  • oh my goodness :3 i just made these cookies ^o^ they tastes sooo delicious~!!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH <3

  • for the sugar can i do 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of white sugar?? please respond ^o^

  • @ValeriaVillasana she was saying cream the butter n sugar together. Creaming is the process of whipping them together to incorporate air and make a light n fluffy mixture! :)

  • Hey at 0:20 it say to mix the brown and white sugar together with the butter, and it also says cream, but I don't see the cream anywhere... Where is it?

  • Love this video but you have to go on the website for the measurement

  • @joycehollee1 that takes like 20 seconds... :S

  • please tell me what the ingretyent are oo esle like i did the cookies will turn white

  • dnt evern tell you the measurenents

  • @jacks665 A direct link to the recipe and ingredient list is under the video in the "Show More" area.

  • tell us how much to put in or the cookies will not turn out right

  • my sister is making it not me

  • do i need baking soda what about baking powder? plz answer this soon i need it for my school dance coming next month!

  • she sounds like a telephone operator

  • BRB gonna make some now :D

  • @MISSVISHOUS2012 haha no probs, its a common mistake lol haha

  • @MISSVISHOUS2012 I'm sorry, I'm Australian, Have we met??

  • GLaDos D:

  • do we have to sift the flour ?

  • wat if you dont add vanilla

my mom wont buy it because theres achohal in it.

  • @IamTeHe The vanilla flavour is not going to be so noticeable the cookies won't still taste great. You could always use some pure vanilla bean. It costs a bit more but the flavour is 10X that of plain old extract.

  • @IamTeHe not all vanilla has alcohol. I always make sure my vanilla doesn't have alcohol. Usually the pure vanilla has alcohol, but some imitations also has alcohol. Just check the ingredients list on them. i know there's some that doesn't have alcohol. Mine doesn't :D

  • @IamTeHe actually theres powder vanilla if you want , you can find it everywhere!(:

  • @IamTeHe you can buy vanilla powder but you may need to add a touch of milk to the recipe to make up the moisture you don't have with the vanilla extract.. don't cook the cookies with out it they will be really bland.. you can add other flavorings too but it really changes the taste of the cookies... btw when using an extract your really using only a tsp and most of it cooks off when cooking so your really not gonna be affected by the alcohol in anyway.

  • @IamTeHe tell your mom there is not enough alcohol in vanilla extract to get anyone drunk... also, any alcohol in there evaporates in the baking process.

  • What kind of flour?

  • @014bby See the link under the video to the text version of the recipe.

  • @014bby all purpose flour or white flour. THey're the same

  • I think ,, instead of waiting for butter to melt u could use (GHEE) butter (butter that is already in molten form) :) ....... i think

  • You didnt say how much of each ingredient?? ;(

  • @peacefulblonde39 See the link under the video to the text version of the recipe.

  • @peacefulblonde39 I see, I did click on the link, but I failed to click on text recipe. Thank YOU!!

  • @peacefulblonde39 A warning, think about making a double batch they never last long around my house.

  • just made these. Came out great! Thanks!

  • do you need white sugar or can you just use brown sugar ????????????????

  • @GeorgeN0nu u need 2 both 2 make it

  • how long does it take the melted butter to get to room temperature? i had to wait for 4 hours or so so that it'll get like that and it doesn't even look like what you have

  • @theeGREATEST22 Ours is always out so it's hard to say how long it may take but a few hours for sure. We whipped this up with a fork to make is nice and smooth before filming so that's why it looks a bit different.

  • why does my brow sugar look more like white peaces sugargar but yours is like powder

  • @Svetassimplefun It's probably just a difference in brand. We also just purchased this sugar so it hadn't sat around and hardened at all.

  • @53329 I totally agree, proceeded food is the worst epidemic effecting the modern world. You need to look no further than health issues and obesity of today vs a few decades ago. That said these cookies are AMAZING!

  • Daaaamn

  • hey, i was wondering, if i wanted to add some cocoa, would i have to add less flour?

i really want to make double chocolate cookies, but i still want them to be chewy.

    thnx. :)

  • omg i want one!!!

  • @justinelhillow me 2

  • 2:34 AHHH!!! UN-COOKED BOTTOMLESS CHOCOLATE CHIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • LOL her "big glass of cold milk" isn't really that much.

  • how the hell the cookies come out flatten out if they went in the oven as balls of dough?

  • @chrysillo Baking magic. It never gets old watching it happen through the oven door.

  • lol, she sounds like a tosser

  • Hi, I prefer crispy cookies to chewy ones, is there any adjustments I can make to the recipe?

  • @missmickery

You can try making these few small adjustments:

    - cream the butter and sugar together very well

    - use only 1 whole egg (and not the additional yolk)

    - instead of having mounds of dough, shape each scoop into rounds and flatten them out prior to baking

    - lower your oven temperature to 300 degrees and bake the cookies long enough so their moisture evaporates

  • IMMA KILL YOU IF U DONT GIVE ME THOSE COOKIES!!

  • how much sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, eggs.you never told us????????

  • Hi, I have a question. How did you get your melted butter to that consistency? Did you melt your butter, let it cool, and then mix it with the white sugar to get that grainy consistency? My melted butter is just not solidifying to that consistency..

  • @RoseLNguyen You are exactly correct. What you can't see in this youtube video is we have an addition video on Rouxbe that talks about the butter in detail. The longer you let it sit after melting it the flatter your cookies will be.

  • This is so yummy,i baked this cookies right after i watch the video.

  • @Iamsolady I hope you had someone to share with, they are so good!

  • yuummmy!!!!
