Flash played safe.

Remember, it usually just takes 1 mistake by the terran for the protoss to run in and pwn everything.

Flash used the terran armada the best he could. He totally put in a heck of a lot of effort into defending and even then the arbs went through.

It was because he went incredibly fast arbiter tech. Why in the world should flash push out when he's threatened by recall and could camp instead? By doing his build, toss couldn't push. He could ONLY recall. Flash scouted it early and reacted accordingly.
