LOL the noblins have a hard time doing what you want because they seem to auto-lock on nearby interactibles, to get them to go somewhere, you need to do the swipe thing (left+right click send forward, move mouse around to change movement direction), they attack random breakables and collect equipment on the ground as they run over;

I wouldn't say I'm entirely happy with the AI and controls of this game, but it works and the preciseness is generally a necessary sacrifice to obtain simplicity
