  • i play this on Wii hahah,... it's crazy..25 years later i still play this thing but on wii hjaha

  • I don't see the logic in wasting a warp whistle to go to World 5 when you're already at World 6.

  • @HoneypieTheLover I haven't played smb3 but I not entirely sure you can go backwards to worlds

  • it's shit like this, nintendo... how the fuck do you do?

there's NO game company more awesome than nintendo, period.

  • might try this too, bought the smb 3 just a week ago :P

    should arrive like thursday :P

aw crap it's the jap version ;D

  • I hated using a flute and then you were looking for something and then by accident i would click on the flute. I HATED THAT.

  • Why would you use a whistle to go back and get a whistle?

  • is that for gameboy because mine doesnt looke like this?

  • this is real ?

  • actually not a rare item, hehe!! its only a flute!!!

  • wait a minute theres 4 fucking flutes in this game

  • Holy shit! how many hidden items does SMB3 really have? I never knew there was a 4th hidden whistle...until this video! AWESOME!

  • @megamanj2004X

Well, In the US version of SMB 3, there's only 3 whistles, the one at 1-3, the one at the very first Mini Fortress and the one where you need to break a rock in the really top-right of the 2nd map.

Un the Japanese version, you got 4 whistles, the three in the US version and This one, at 5-1 :D.

I hope I have helped you a bit.

  • @jutra0 - oh ok. I gotcha now. Thank you for clarifying this bit up.

  • Flutes I have so far:

    First - 1-3

    Second - W1 Fort

Third - W2 Fire Bros. Battle

    Fourth - 5-1

  • How did you get 4 Warp Whistles???

  • 25 years later and there's still shit in this game people are discovering.

  • @BGDD27 LOL xD This game it's the best Mario in all time :D

  • @fmgh88 Agreed, even better than Mario World. This one seemed to have made the most unique additions to the original Super Mario formula that were carried on into the series; hidden levels and items, world maps, flight power and thus levels with greater exploration height-wise, sliding down slopes, different types of bosses, carrying shells and items, and so on. The only new thing Mario World seemed to do besides graphics was Yoshi, and he wasn't that big of an innovation if you think about it

  • ay wey.....esta chido

  • awesome! So there was a way to get another whistle after all!

  • problemas con la cosita cine

  • Secret? jajaja xD i have 16

  • cape or feather either which?

  • cape or feather either which

  • :O

  • :O

  • :O

  • Fuck nuggets!

  • haha this is not a secret item

  • LOL @ Zelda tune flute..

  • For anyone who isn't aware, this is of the Japanese version of SMB3.

Infact they changed the end of that level to prevent this glitch from occurring.

  • Muito Bem!!!

  • in world one theres a flute glitch its VERY helpful

  • The end of the world is different in real game!

  • @amburi No, the snes version.

  • @23cool1234

so this is snes? looks like nes. and in NES version the end of world 5-1 is different from the one in this video.

  • @amburi I meant the end is different in the snes version.

  • @amburi 8 months later i come to say nope. And i assumed its different on the nes version(being played on in the video) because i have the snes version

  • @23cool1234

I just played this level, in nes version. the end is different no question about that.

Maybe the one in the video is a nes version but some kind of Japanese (maybe?) version dunno.

  • @amburi Uploader Comments:

It says all. It is tha japanese version.

  • I call shananigans!

  • THERE'S NO WAY THAT BE RIGHT! I freaking missed every flute in the game then, only know where the first two are.

  • What 2 flutes?!?!? THERE'S NO WAY THAT CAN BE RIGHT!

  • @Larakinerd I know where three are.

  • @wackypack09 me 2

  • 4 warp whistlez? hows that pawzable?

  • Teleporting music = Intro theme to ocarina of time

  • @thesuperpizzaman

also the sound of the flute from the very first zelda game for the nes.

  • love it..!!!! 5 stars

  • dont tell the middle east about this

  • super mario bros 3 is sneaky.. ()_()

  • that thing at the end was an ENEMY?!?!? It looked like a 5UP to me....

  • @MrGgk1 i'll bet admiral ackbar would have something to say about that, if you know what i mean. :P

  • @here4good IT*S A TRAP!!!!

  • @linck15 its a crap?

  • what? so this glitch is ONLY on the japanese version? I feel a bit ripped off...

  • Comment removed

  • @VicTheMouth3612 Japanese version

  • @SeikatsuNiju Ok. sorry. I'm kind of mad that they left that out of the american version. I would have liked to kill that weird enemy at the goal.

  • the title is in English but the description is is Japanese!

  • @matthew90001 How fucking clever of you! nobody would have known. Thanks

  • i like that form the best, the down, hold down and hold Y thing looks funny..not sure what it is though..

  • O.O!

  • wow

  • Have you noticed that the sound of the flute its exactly the same just as the beggining of Oot?

  • @Piesonscreations yeah i thought of that too

  • this only in the japan version

  • a dildo?

  • @HunnyXCakeforever LOL xD

  • what happens when u use a warp whistle on world 8? and then using another one in the warp zone?

  • @kookybird234 It will just warp you back to world 8

  • @kookybird234 Hmm... Wish I didn't overwrite my save state. I'm not sure, can you even use items during warp?

  • @kookybird234 Nothing ._.u

  • But what does it do? D:

  • Raccoons can fly in this game.

  • hacked

  • @34Karatekid NOT HACKED

  • We want MORE secrets!

  • dudu duuuuuu dudu du sounds like zelda ocarnia of time

    aa

  • Probably hacked

  • What gets me is why SOOO many flutes? You only needed two.

  • @deguimerautube and you could get them in the first like 4 levels

  • cool!!

  • dude its not secret if the game was made 50000000000000000 years ago!

  • hu :S I tried that to get up that blue ledge aswell, but nothing spawned =P

  • Japanese version

  • .....this dude is obviosly a hacker.

  • No, real.

  • Very real, i used to do it, on a japanese version

  • @WeenieRobot I know, I said it was real.

  • @LMDS95 Is it really? Have you done it yourself?

  • @haloman800 Yes.

  • I'll be damned. SMB3 has more easter eggs than a...um...Easter basket.

  • @jzcrandall that eggs only in the japanese one though sadly.

  • @jzcrandall World 5 (I think) It's 3 pipes. did you noticed it?

  • How did you get 4 whistles?

  • It's the Flute from Legend of Zelda

  • the flute = loz song

  • another FLUTE?:O

  • is japanese version

  • y ezto zi es real ?

  • Cool, I didn't think there was another secret flute after world 2 (or world 3)!

  • this is a bug?

  • yea I've never seen this one. Bad ass. Nice job.

  • wow never knew this one existed

  • Ohh the ice world music is pretty creepy.

  • lol it says sup (5up)

  • You know, this guy could have killed the Chain Chomps and the Jumping Pirahna Plants by simply turning into a statue and stomping on them. Why he did not figure this out is beyond me.

  • Uh he wasn't trying to kill them, that's why?

  • bc he didnt give a FUCK

  • this a real flute, but are dificult got one, in the first castle (world 1, no the ship) fly before of the door and find the flute, is easy. ojo, yo hablo en español, me costo decirlo en ingles XD

  • Haha Japanese version kick ass!

  • (sorry, I'm confused)Is this a glitch,a hack or it's real a flute number 4?

I'm going to test at my Wii

  • It's in the Japanese version only...

  • no its in all versions on every level

  • Don't go to board2, go to Jul instead.

  • The Japanese version looks just as interesting than the American. I gotta have it.

  • pero eso es solo en la version japonesa :S

  • Its a RACCON

  • No,Tanooki

  • Mario's got big balls.

  • creo, no se

  • agusandpipi1:

    no, solo son 3 flautas

  • there was more to that lvl

  • This is in the SMB3 Japaness version. In this version, you have to travel a pipe at the end of the level, BUT in the American version, there are no pipe, the level finish in the same place where the pipe is.

Oh yeah and the japaness version has 5 whistles and the American 3 whistles

  • I'll assume this video shows the 4th whistle, curious, where is the 5th?

  • I know there are 5 whistles, but I don't know where he is because I don't have the Japaness Version :D.

Also, many people say there are 5 whistles in the Japaness Version (I bet it an another Glitch like that to get the 5th) :P.

  • naa qe mamada jaja

  • and the music is from "the legend of zelda" very strange...

  • no its not, zelda is either from nintendo -3-

  • the music of the flute

  • existe una cuarta flauta ? muy bueno el video

  • what the glitch!!

    5/5

  • there are two in world 1 lol

  • You only need two anyways.

  • papa marios secret weapon!

  • I really didn't know that you can get 4 whistles. I knew about 1-3, fortress in 1st world and in second world where you must use a hammer to go to the second part of the screen to get it. But this?

  • it is necessary to do dressed it bear

  • i think not,its probably just easyer and faster

  • This is the Japaneese version come on every one knows the first 2 whistles are in world 1 1-3 and the mini fortess and in world 2 where you fight the fire hammer bros. i haven't see any warp whistles in world 5 it is a hack or someone is using game genie codes but nice video i am only saying that there is no way that is game has 4 warp whistles in it

  • Secret white toad Houses forgot those

  • you are right shaggy. this is only in the Japanese version. it is only a bit different than the us version two key things different are where the whistles are and that there are actually 4 in that version instead of 3

  • thanks carolinaman6

  • there is 2 in the first level stupid ass in 1-3 and in the mini fortress

  • Doesn't this only work on the Japanese version?

  • Your right. unless you count the secret 2nd exit in the english version, but you can only get that through game genie codes.

  • T thought this was gonna be about the cape in this game

  • it is in the game but just the GBA version of it

  • Holy shit.....there's a third whistle? I knew about the first two but I didn't know there was a third.

    Is this for real?

  • Yeah in Desert land in the top right corner there's a rock you have to break and it'll lead to a fire bros with the whistle.

  • The great thing about this game is.. You've never seen everything in it! Because its fucking huge!

  • Holy shit, I thought I knew everything about this game

  • sounds like the ocarina from zelda

  • yeah the ocarina in minish cap for GBA

  • i didn't know that either!
