  • IT HAS BEEN A MINUTE SINCE I HEARD SOME OF THESE, OMG, THIS IS THE BOMB!!!

  • Nice nice!!!! Love it. And, I'm a big time old school head. In fact I have a website called undergroundNYC [dot] com and I have lots of ol skool house mixes posted there. Don't worry about the critics cause everyone has an opinion like everyone has an ______ . LOL!

  • Man.. this take me back to East Orange NJ .. club 88.. BOY.. do that thangggggg... >

  • does any one know the old house or dance mix or music where it has lyrics such as "hola" "are ready go... are you ready go, and are you ready go" "____ rockin the party like nobody" has like a womans voice thats almost like a guys or electro made? one i been lookin for and have no clue. any ideas is greatly appreciated

  • music was so good in those days that even mainstream music was cool unlike now

  • Wow!!! You hit it top dead center. The whole thing is nice good job

  • koool

  • It's cool just listening to these old tunes full stop. I don't give a rats how there done, if that's what you like to do and share it with others then go for it. Glad I didn't run into any of you critics when I was clubbing, talk about bring me down and make me straight.

  • That isnt mixing. thats just using a production tool and mathematical matching the beats. I bet this person that did this has never been to a rave or club night and see a dj mix with percision and skill with the original vynil. So keep it real keep it vynil

  • good job bro!

  • that is supa dupa hottt !! fierce mix

  • faved

    so dope!

  • great mix !!!!

  • PHONY!!! Anyone can do this! This ain't djing! Real skilled dj's do it live (turntables and vinyl)!!!

  • Sorry you feel that way, but i've been Djing since 1982 and i'm a master at turntable mixing. Someone told me about this program, so i tried it. If you want to hear my turntable mixes go djwillstokesDOTcom. I actually have a turntable version of this mix. Its called the Old School House Mix. I now use the Numark NS7. I still have my 27 year old Technics 1200s though. I like the new stuff too. I'm not scared of technology nor change.

  • master, eh? do u go around in public, telling people that?

  • @4212ETD Yeah! You can't just get this software and start making mixes like this. It's correct that the package matches the BPM but you have to know the breaks and what will sound good with what. I don't think someone that hasn't lived through those times can make a mix like this.

  • @4212ETD I know a year has passed since this comment, just browsing around in youtube came across this vid and comment. I share your same feelings. I've been Djíng since 1984, still have my 1200's which I use with VDJ, Traktor and Torq. I also have some MIDI controllers I use: Numark Total Control, PCDJ DAC-3 and best of all my MOUSE. Just like you I'm not scare of technology and I flow with it. All this MIDI and Software tech makes our lives much easier. Keep the good work, DjChachi PR

  • Grow up! Of course original dj's used vinyl...but you have to expnd with the times...very few "working" djs are still using vinyl...unless they specialize in old school music....

  • @6sixman Expand with the times?? i have a vinyl burner, (yup i buy blank vinyl and make my own records with the NEW age music on it.) why you might ask. lot of our shows love it seeing the DJ work not just hit 10 songs in a row on some Ipod and be done. People pay more when they see the work done. not clic click push bush now goto sleep for 2 hours.

  • word..

  • Of course all these wannabe's and people who don't know shit about REAL djing are gonna be mad cause they have no knowledge of what TRUE dj skills are all about! They couldn't tell the difference from a good mix or a bad one. From perfect beat matching to being off-beat all they think is if their good songs than it's a good mix! SORRY! WRONG!

  • @housemanchi who cares who does what? what djs can't use improvements in technology to their advantage? quit hating for once and enjoy the music...

  • @MrMetatron7777 I always love the music, But these so called improvements as you put it, are actually leading to the destruction of an artform called djing! I'm never hating just stating my opinions and what i believe to be true! Using a computer isn't and never will be considered real djing, That's my take, it's a fact, that's my take and it's always the way i'll feel. By the way what are your credentials? Cause right now your statements lack any credibility!!!

  • This mix is brilliant...how did u upload it ...coz the sound is brilliant...i've used camtasia but the sound is crap...any ideas would be appreciated.....thanks again and keep up the good work !!!!

  • I use Camtasia Studio too, I had to turn the record or audio volume down when using camtasia.

  • Hey dude verry good mixing stuf there but where can i find that link from the full 80 minutes mix1 and @housemanchi dont talk rubbisch men anyone can do this offcourse but you must have the feeling to creat music selection, and placed the breaks good intro,x etc.

  • Go to djwillstokesDOTcom (replace DOT with a period.) On my website it's the first mix in the media player. It's called "The Old School House Mix." You can also download it from the download page on my site.

  • thnx for youre reaction great website dj will ihave found it.

  • Beat it bum you know nothing, you have no credibility!

  • @voetsol Anyone with the right computer program can do this! But not everyone can be a master on the Wheels Of Steel!!! And that's no rubbish son! Truth be told!!!

  • i download this mix.. i like it!

    on 32min what track id? i don't remember :-(

  • "Surrender Your Love" by Nightcrawlers

  • Great tunes m8 love them all

  • Download my new 80 minute long Old School House Mix. Over 40 tracks in this mix. The link is under my Avartar. Enjoy.

  • All that matters is the songs and the memories. Please Just enjoy.

Thanks for my memories. Those was some hot days for me as a late teen early 20's man.

  • Aw, this is TIGHT! I love it, serious memories with every song.

  • Good job! Old School in flesh and blood!

  • Fantastic mix! I miss me some doug lazy crazy house shit!

    Great going man!

  • yo!!! cuz made a mega mix that's out of this world, trust me i was a d.j. for 15 years, give the guy some credit!!!! it's better than most of these on-line d.j.'s that they think they know what they are doing!!!! yo, he's got skillz!!!!!!

  • Just 15 talk to me when you have over 25yrs, your opinion doesn't even count!

  • Nice mix, but it is out of the song grids of 8 and 16 bars of 4/4 hits.

This is very important for megamixing so that the mix sounds very smooth.

    Please practice a little longer.

  • like you can do better?????

  • I think so.

I've done several mixes which has been published on different CDs in the middle of the 90's.

  • @djartied Definitely, and i get paid for it!!!

  • I have to say Mixmeister is the greates piece of software I have ever come across. And I worked as a software developer for over 10 years lol. You can do such great stuff on it. Love what you did here.

  • Mixmeister is straight up GARBAGE, It's for all those wannabe's who can't be REAL dj's!!! A computer mix is just that "a mix" it's not real djing! Real dj's have skill!!! And that's no personal knock on this guy it's a knock on the computer garbage and these new age dorks who wannabe dj's!!! Get REAL!!!

  • Yeah that maybe true but I think mixmeister allows you to spend a lot of time on a mix and make it sound exactly how you want it to. Its good for playback only though not real time.

  • Proves that software doesn't make a good mixer; good trax though

  • Just say NO to radio, and say YES to YouTube.

Because it is very doubtful that radio will ever play those songs again. Besides, you might as well just download them and put them on an MP3 player (on shuffle).

  • theres alot of good internet radio out there also

  • Forger Internet radio. Just put your MP3 into shuffle, and you will have the closest satisfactory thing to radio serve you.

Just listen to 30 second excerpts of compilation album tracks if you wanna try out new house.

  • can u give to us a link to download ur set?

  • I just added the link.
