  • omg aliems :D

  • Still very "naked", but already very cute.

  • where was the joey laying down?

  • d makan tuh n d sop..... mantap.....

  • Question, do males have pouches?

  • @GwanThwei No only the females.

  • is it painful to the mother to pull the pouch back all the way? and if not, didn't she protest when you did so to film the baby? Just curious.

  • @khoslananya No, not painful. They would not allow that, they would have moved away from us. We ere very careful.

  • @RooGully my 7 year old wants to know do females have a pouch that opens before their babies are born?

  • @skeeterjane74 Yes even the unfurred females have a pouch that opens. It developes when they are a few weeks old. However they do not develop teats (there are 4 of them) until they are much older - over a year old.

  • I love his tiny little hands squeezing together :) and his tiny little nails ! And his tiny little fingers !

  • thats a Kangaroo i sooooooo small

  • Thank you for this. I've always wondered what was inside the pouch and wouldn't be satisfied with just a verbal description. Video answered all my questions.

  • look at th eyes

  • it's so so.. furry...

  • OTTOMAN EMPIRE!

  • This is very intresting, Dang they are cute.

  • @babymoneyblack With respect we will remove your comment as we have young students viewing our clips for educational reasons.

  • What a dirty fingernails so close to the little kangaroo!!!

  • @mmabeers The 'dirt' as you call it is actually the oil secreted from the lining of the pouch.

  • @mmabeers hahaha i said the same thing xD

  • Makes you wonder, being a fetus, if it isn't being painfully burned by the sun and/or air whenever exposed. Imagine popping open a human mother's stomach at the corresponding age and shining a torch at it and saying "look at the fetus, everyone!"

  • @arounsavell NO torch.......not even hosue lighting.....NO brihgt sunlight, just natural light. We did know what we were doing, and would never have risked these joeys' lives. In fact both grew to adults and became mothers themselves...and no we did not film their joeys because they were mother raised not raised by us. So please give us some credit!! Feeling a bit angry by your comment? Yep because you have looked at one clip and not actually seen what we did achieve.

  • ITS SOO F'N CUTE!!!

  • is i born directly into the pouch or the mother herself puts the joey itn the puch?

  • @najlu92 Neither. If you watch Kangaroo Birth on our channel you will see it is born normally and climbs to the pouch. Fascinating.

  • @RooGully qooo ok thnkss hehe

  • looks like a sausage.

  • "And that's juss what wei thought they was, Animaws gwowin insoid a powtch instedd of a womb."

  • is the kangaroo letting the lady dig in her pouch O.O

  • @rainbowsrock6165 Having raised the mothers from very young they were quite happy to share their joeys with us.

  • @RooGully oh thats really cool i wish i could pet kanagroos like u guys can but i cant because i live in lawton oklahoma :((((((

  • lolz the baby is like leave me alone lolz

  • Do Kangaroos give birth to only one joey or more than one like the Tasmanian Devil where the first joeys to make it to the pouch live?

  • @AnnoyingSquib Kangaroos can raise twins, but it is rare in Western Greys.

  • It's a wild slowpoke

  • VERY VERY MUCHO small.. lookws kinda ew..

  • Um... cute? I guess

  • i love kangaroo's so much

  • Soo cute(":

  • are those pouches sorta like their vag?

  • @Jarrettmonty99 No it is very separate.

  • @Jarrettmonty99 xDDDDDDDDDD

  • um ... do i really need to say something about this? ...

  • The only disgusting thing to me is how the pouch if full of baby poop.. that should be cleaned somehow

  • @WWPSdvia This is all explained in a clip further along the series. But can assure you NO poop inside that pouch!!

  • @WWPSdvia But we too when we were in our mothers whom pooped so it isn't much of a difference really.

  • @gingerntoast...... we dont go # 2 (poop) in the womb unless something is wrong,,

  • @brandishoogy Oh! I got #1 mixed up with #2. Your right, but I don't think a baby kangaroos' #2 isn't bad with bacteria until they get older. Hmmm,

  • @gingerntoast wow that makes SO much sense! Babies don't poo in the same way when they're in the womb, otherwise the faeces would poison the baby. When a baby is developing, all the food it gets from it's mothers comes through the umbilical cord as blood which carries energy which helps the baby grow. I guess it's kind of similar for a joey, except they come from the womb when they are very small, then develop fully in the pouch.

  • What an awesome animal!

  • dosent that hurt the mom, baby is scratching its mothers fur off =P

  • @YumLolipopsx3 No it doesn't hurt the mother. At this age the joeys are quite small and their nails are not really sharp.

  • ewwwwwwwww

  • Holy crap, that's amazing!

  • baby Animals looks so disgusting when they are just born but then they get mega cute when they slowly grow up. =D

  • Watched this whole series with my daughter yesterday (unit on Kangaroos) and we both absolutely loved it. If I could buy this, I would! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

  • Amazing video, thanks

  • what lucky kangaroo's they are!!

  • How did you get you roo to stay still for such a long time to do the filming? I have a female Wallaroo with a joey in the pouch but my female will not let me in her pouch accept for just a second to check the baby.

  • Both mothers were hand raised by us, and still enjoyed a bottle of milk. So Sadie and Katie would simply lay on the couch beside us, drink their bottles and we would film inside the pouch. We were very lucky they allowed this.

  • I will have to try this with mine. I think Hoppy will still take a bottle, she still wants to go in to a pouch...

  • Oh my gosh :O You have a pet kangaroo. :O i want one

  • wow great we need more like tht

  • they dont look like an inch big to me they look like 3 inches big to me but cool vid.!!

  • omg thats disgusting, but once they grow couple weeks old teyre SOOO cute

  • wow that is amazing.. thankyou for sharing with us

  • Its amazing how small they start out!
