Im Sure you cant do this in the FF8 from the playstation store purely because start of the game I raped the training arena I mean really I stayed there till my squall was level 40 just killing those retard plant monster things and the t-rex, and I leveled Quezacotl to like lv60 getting his SumMagic 10,20 and 30% and boost, (not even fought ifrit yet)get to this boss Squall, Quezacotl, Boost 165 (was my highest) 6205 Damage, Did it die?...... Did it fuck!

You can beat X-ATMO a bit faster using Double + Thundaga with everyone.

Oh and it's better to fight at the second encounter before the bridge.

I was Level 30+ with Squall and Electro++/Double = totally owned. eeach electro++ attacked 2000 damage, so in an attack i hit this fucking bastard 4000 :D, 3 times and die, no regeneration. 21:07 at the beach.

This game was my first rpg game ever and it's still my favorite...@19932006295 all u need to do is have near death(yellow HP or close to) then side command appears randomly, then u use the circle button trick until an arrow pops up, then hold down the right directional arrow and select the command, everybody can do this not only squall....and everybody was a noob at this game at some point and nobody can deny that fact

u mean where when u attack normally, if u press a button and it duz a critical? if thats it then press r1 right as u hit, if it's his finisher then just press r1 when the wave goes thru the box

actually if you train your compatibility with quetz, get sum magic etc and boost, then boost it. You will tear this boss a part. Don't even need to waste time casting cure, just level your quetzo from the start, and str + % on ifrit and etc

So you got your physical guy with water magic junctioned to str and thunder junction to elem attack, and you got your quetzo user with the best magic junctioned to magic. You can kill him 5 times with ease

Because it's just wasting your power and regenerates the damage you caused while repair.

holy crap i had no idea you could do this haha..i always just knock his hp down with gfs..and yeah gfs are hecka powerful if you get their 30% attck on quezacotl and boost..itll do like 3000 haha..so idk what ur talkin bout...and i just knock him down with quezacotl and hit him with shiva and ifrit to knock him down again and run away and you get 50 ap..and you can do that like 8 times but i never get all 8 cuza time

In the Beginning of the game.

After getting at least Card Mod and T Mag-RF, head back to Balamb Garden.

 Challenge the gate keeper (In the Garden) to a card game, and aim for the following cards - Abyss Worm (1 = 1 Windmill = 20 Tornado with T Mag-RF)

As for a strategy. Have Squall with 100 Tornado junctioned to his Strength and optionally 100 Thund(er/ra/aga) junctioned to his Elem-Atk-J, and have him unleash Renzokuken at low HP.

wow i started a new game i did so much more i beat the spider in 6minutes...

i got quezacotl all his sum mag abilities and boost

i got ifrit all the str+20/40% and str bonus so squall was at level 25 doing 750damage a hit with r1

selphie and zell were using quezacotl or double thunder and he was too easy....weird....

Actually if you know what cards to look for you can obtain the Punishment Squall's second best weapon before you even set foot into Ifrit's cave.

Somebodys says, you can only destroy it in Bridge.. when you kill it it automatically goes to same place where is G-Soldier when you go in Dollet later, when he calls X-ATM looking robot and it falls on your way..somewhere after Bridge.

Nah you can only kill him when he jumps up onto the cliff. Though if deal enough damage to him anywhere else he'll regen but you'll still get the AP. Where as you can continue fighting him gaining tonnes of AP. I know this cause I was way way way overleveled on this part. :p

no because here you get alot of AP and exp when quistis does it, its just a cutscene and you get no points

Humm...

I'm playing this again for PC, I scan that thing and it displays around 6k HP.

With Squall I can deal about 7k with Renzokuken+Rough Divide (100 Tornados to Str, Str+20% from Ifrit and Str+40% from Ifrit too).

The point is that this thing keeps repairing itself, even if I deal more damage than his max HP.

The only thing I can do is run away and get 50AP.

actually you cant get the last weapon on the first disc..ive tried you can get all the needed things for it..except for one that you have to mug from an enemy from the second disc but still its early to have your last weaopon

you get it at the beach near Timber, fight adamantoise. takes long and requires some luck..you can get them on card and I believe you can also Mug him....

Umm... just keep on summoning Quezacotl for Squall early on the game so you can max out the compatibability so summoning would be extremely fast. Then spam Quezacotl on this fight, junction Shiva for J-Mag and make sure Quezacotl has Boost. I killed it maybe 3 times, I really can't remember, so that's 150AP for me. :D

Well, my secret is this, when the characters have less than 1/2 of total HP there is a chance for them to use their limit brakes, so before fighting a boss lower ur character's Hp or you can even hit urself during a boss, but thats risky

You have to avoid battles against him, there are some tricks for that, and juz battle at the bridge, the only place you can kill him.
