@officiallytyshay i think its more of the way they go to the past. like with the charmed ones they were usually sent back by the elders or something.. but when chris and chris and wyatt went back they used a portal that they made or a spell.. and also when the sisters were without their powers there was a reason.. like in the 70's episode it was so the mother could end up bailing them out of jail.. and the halloween episode it was so they could learn how to tap into the power of all hallows eve.
