Now I'll have to see the movies all over again! :) I love star wars. Some people see it nerdy, I don't like those people who says that but have'nt even seen the movies. They are great! this is one of the best movies ever made! I say that because I think so, and because it's so well made, and that's nothing you can change! :) Love this movie!!!
I just watched Episode 1 3D with some friends and some of them were like joking with some scenes how acting is bad and over the top. But they all forgot or don't know in the first place that SW is and epic space opera. So in my opinion it should look more like a theater acting or acting in opera where parts that are spoken are usually over the top. That's one of many reasons I like SW, even though it's a movie I feel like I'm sitting in my chair and watching these adventures happening before me.
@MattTC1028 I believe it was one of the earliest "sneak peeks" thrown into this featurette before it was revealed to be for the Blu-Ray release of Phantom Menace (and now the 3D re-release).

Lol, at 13:06. Every time I watch the movie, I'm like omfg, watch out where you're waving the lightsaber. What if you accidentally turn the lightsaber on?
I don't see why people complained about Hayden at all. He might not have given the strongest performance in EP 2, I'll agree, but in EP 3 he did a fantastic job with the material given to him. Don't even think Al Pacino could have done better (Not saying that Al Pacino suits for the role at all, just saying that if Hayden can take it to Pacino's level, hes one of the best).
When i saw the people on set applauding when Hayeden entered in a full vader suit, i started laughing hysterically. Not because its funny in any way, but because star wars is so god damn awesome. There's so much story behind every little detail. The droids, the guns, the characters biography and the overall geniality of the movies.
I love this. this proves to everyone that Luke didn't inherit the prophecy, and also that the story ends with Episode 6, there is no story after that. haters hate on Lucas all you want, you're still wrong.
Enough prequel bashing they are great films(maybe not phantom menace) but I loved 2 and 3 who gives about the acting or even script writing just feel the story and characters that's what I do so I advise you all to watch the prequels again and try to get attached to the story Insted of nitpicking every little thing
@donaldthescotishtwin Who cares about acting or dialogue? You do know those are the most basic elements for a movie, right? Your whole post sounds like nothing but fanboy drivel.

I really don't understand why many people think the first 3 star wars films were excellent (which they were) but why so many people thought the 3 prequel films were rubbish, and didn't have the same great story and impact as the first 3. I think the whole saga is the best saga ever told, and the 3 preqel films told a great back story with lots of action which I thought the first 3 films lacked. Every single star wars film in my view is excellent and they all fit perfectly as a saga.

@stephenson99 The recent 3, which I refuse to call Star Wars movies, were a cluster F of poor script writing and over the top directing. 3 was maybe passable, at best passable. These were by far the worst series of films to follow up any great movie/series of movies. Followed closely only by Indy and the Crystal Skull. "..they always believe they are doing good, even though they are not." could be the best line to describe what Lucas did to this franchise.
@chaven74 I can't agree with you there mate I thought the 3 prequel films were real good. They set the back story and the lightsaber duels were fantastic. I think some times nostalgia can become too much and cloud everything new that comes out, especially for the star wars saga. I think most people already made up their minds and said "These 3 prequel films won't ever beat the original 3 films" before even watching the movies themselves. But thats just my opinion.
Glad this also shows how much work Hayden had to do in these movies... If people didn't like the image protrayed, blame Lucas... Hayden himself admits he wanted to be darker, but Lucas held him back purposely... Having him only do select scenes as pure evil (if you can call it that). Good job Hayden!
Mark Hamill also admitted he thought at in Return of the Jedi, he would become more dark, maybe even join the dark side for a bit, of course, we're happy that didn't happen...
