Whoever doesn’t like her because of the whole she likes Yugi/Atem reason are jealous since they can’t get as close to the guys like she can. The anime is completely different from their fandom and despite their efforts they can‘t win against the actual anime. If they want to hate her for that then why not hate the others that like Yugi or go after the fan created pairings?

I don't hate her but I don’t like her either. I don't get why she's hated even though she seems pretty much useless.

The hatred that people have for her reminds me of the hatred people have for Relena from Gundam Wing.Honestly I never understood why peop hated Relena so much, back in the day there were anti-relena sites and everything. Seriously there were some crazy fangirls or fanboys of gw.

But Relena was a great character and she was and is like my most fav female anime character. I think she was good role model for young girls yet, legions of fans despised her. Anzu suffers from the same thing.
