Both Bush and Clinton won the presidency with more people voting against them than for them. Bush didn't even win the popular vote in 2000, so that number doesn't mean much 15 months before the election. Besides, unless that poll shows the reason people won't vote for her is directly related to her husbands behavior, it does nothing to prove your point.

Has anyone read Richard Clark's book "Against all enemies"? There's a chapter in there called "the almost war" where he talks about how Clinton was debating whether or not to bomb Iran in response for their link to the bombing of a US embassy in saudi arabia. Can you imagine all the backlash Bush would recieve if he were to bomb Iran right now POST 9/11? Bottom line Clinton is not the dove the right tries to make him out to be, he's a hawk. So is Hillary. Who's a monkey Olbermann? I would have to say that Wallace is a very fair journalist, something Keith should aspire to be, instead of a mudslinger with an agenda posing as a journalist.
Olbermann defines what a journalist should be. Someone who speaks the truth about what is important to the public. As were Priest & Hull of the Washington Post exposing the shame of Walter Reed. As were Akre & Wilson of Fox News. For refusing to lie to the public when ordered, offered bribes and threatened by FOX and Monsanto.
No he can have a mundane sense of humor but I want one news broadcast station with absolute intellectual severity and not deadened in content by over-speculative focus points and often aimless coverage let alone debate. Sudans government was trying to patch its relations with the US at the time and Congress didnt want to cut any potential ties and Clinton didnt want to push the issue. Besides, are you under the impression that thousands of troops and civilians deaths and 8 years later that Bush Jr. was able to put Bin Ladens "death" under his belt? I think not.

The CIA requested the information be forwarded to the FBI, but the justice department denied the sharring. Bush isn't completely free of blame by any means, but in my opinion the weight falls more on Clinton's shoulders. because it was no secret even in the 90's that UBL was plotting to attack the US. What I find intersting is how none of the claims that Clinton was soft on terrorism ever came BEFORE 9/11 or during his presidency.
The GOP refused to support Clinton's anti-terror actions while president. They didn't claim the efforts were weak. They claimed he shouldn't have been doing it at all.

He makes it very clear that Clinton made fighting Al-Qaeda a top priority while Bush ignored it prior to 9/11.

First, get your facts straight. He didn't lie to cangress, he lied under oath during an investigation by a special prosecutor. Congress impeached him, and found him not guilty. Both Bush and Clinton won the presidency with more people voting against them than for them. Bush didn't even win the popular vote in 2000, so that number doesn't mean much 15 months before the election. Besides, unless that poll shows the reason people won't vote for her is directly related to her husbands behavior, it does nothing to prove your point.
The number you should consider is Clintons approval, which is between 60 and 70%.

Has anyone read Richard Clark's book "Against all enemies"? There's a chapter in there called "the almost war" where he talks about how Clinton was debating whether or not to bomb Iran in response for their link to the bombing of a US embassy in saudi arabia. I'm simply saying that before the bombing of a US empassy in the midle of clinton's secound term, no one knew about Osama Bin Ladin. I do not deny that they passed up opertunities to get him, but they did not ignore him completly. Clinton sent men after him. but nothing changed once bush came into office. Condi Rice did not show Bush a certain now well known memo titled "Bin Ladin Determind to Attack Inside United States". The point is, they both screwed us.

I'm astounded. Olbermann is obviously bright, well-spoken (though a little too wordy sometimes, I must say), and strikingly perceptive and articulate, with great on-camera presence. Even if you don't like what he says, I don't understand how you can say he has no talent. What are his failings, talent-wise?

Bill Maher is so anti gun its silly. He forgets, or never realized that if the Nazis had not removed the guns from the hands of Jews they never could have rounded them up for the holocost in the first place.
Why doesn't he go to Isreal and try to sell them on gun control? No he wouldn't because they would probably do a Rabin on him.

It's true what he says about the Lewinsky "scandal." This country has it's morals all wrong. That whole thing was about two steps from irrelevant. Truman murdered 200,000 civilians in an already defeated nation and went down as a hero. Clinton gets some oral and people call for his impeachment and imprisonment. Olbermann defines what a journalist should be. Someone who speaks the truth about what is important to the public. As were Priest & Hull of the Washington Post exposing the shame of Walter Reed. As were Akre & Wilson of Fox News. For refusing to lie to the public when ordered, offered bribes and threatened by FOX and Monsanto.

No he can have a mundane sense of humor but I want one news broadcast station with absolute intellectual severity and not deadened in content by over-speculative focus points and often aimless coverage let alone debate. I am yet to see one mainstream-wise. Olbermann play at being eloquent is a far cry from what I'm talking about, but much more tolerable than in those moments than the other pundits.

How about this: More people watch Fox News from 8 till 11 than watch all other news channels at that time COMBINED. If O'Reilly is so wrong, then why is he so popular, and if this guy is so smart and well spoken, then why does nobody watch him, or the rest of MSNBC for that matter?
