Its a pretty song.. but I hated having to sing in french in chorus, unlike good Gaelige or Cymraeg the pronunciations are all off.

that would have to be french...the recording is super clear so I had a hard time hearing it but I didn't pick out the huron words "jesous anhatonhia"

that would be french yup...this song is also referred to as Twas in the Moon of Wintertime...I play this in my local high school concert band...Baritone Horn.
