I remember seeing this in a magasine when it was new and though "Wow that looks frigging awesome!"... later i got a G9 though, but when the cord on that broke after some time (way too early for me though) i got the sidewinder x5 because i was down on money.. it doesn't have the lcd screen or the custom weights, other than that it's the same as the original except no metal and no weights.. biggest problem for me is the lack of weights...

i've got the X5 mouse... it's much cheaper than that, if has plastic wheel instead of alluminium, and it sucks, it broke down after you press the wheel just a bit strongful, it's a cheap shitty thing, i hope this helps somebody who want's to buy this mouse and change his mind

@Mwreflex7676 I know im late but have you ever used the sidewinder x8? because I have the sidewinder x8 and it never disconects and it never lags or anything. unless you plan on playing on 4k dpi its really good.

however from what I see only 2 wireless gaming mice are really worth it, that is the sidewinder x8 and the razer mamba (though I dont like razer)

By far the most uncomfortable mouse i have ever owned, returned it after one day. For someone with long fingers and a claw grip hold this was very very uncomfortable. The rear of the mouse is simply too tall. And even i couldn't reach the side thumb buttons comfortably... other might like it but if you have HUMAN hands i don't see how you could finds this comfortable. PS MS mice are all garbage, had a Razor and Mamba both die on me...

I bought the Micro$oft sidewinder X8 for 80 bucks i think about a year ago. Wasn't fully satisfied, first because the thing was huge for my hand. Too thick and would get me tired really fast until i got used to it. After 1 year the battery started giving problems. When recharging the battery indicator would flash meaning it wasn't charging so i have to detach the charging cable from the mouse and attach it again and it would doit again. Very annoying, go for razer, more confortable and slick.

ich habe mal ne frage: wenn ich mir eine maus mit 5600 dpi kaufe (razer lachesis), ist sie dann auch schneller und empfindlicher im spiel (cod4)??? was ist der unterschied zwischen empfindlichkeit und dpi?

A local LAN gaming arena near my place had these mouses on the PCs. They aren't THAT bad. It sucks compared to the likes of Razer in terms of response. But are on equal grounds when it comes to hand comfort. I'm in the minority anyhow lol
