Brooke explains pacemakers, princesses and professions

Brooke is on her third pacemaker. It will be two years this december 2011 since her last heart surgery. She is doing a great job! She's a very smart second grader!

She seems so sweet. I was three years old when I had my first pacemaker implanted. They had to put it in my stomach because I was so little. Since than I have had two others including last year my doctor put my new on in my left chest. I am 23 and I wish Brooke the best. She will face some obstacles, but with love and support and a positve outlook she can do great things.

@Kelldives anytime it is amazing to see someone just like me when I was her age and to now know that even with heart problems and a pacmaker that nothing can stop us. I was told so much by my doctors what I could not do but my mom always showed me what I could do. My mom with finally the ok by my doctors to take ballet lessons and that changed my life I was able to feel a sense of accomplshment. I now attened a University and will use dance to help kids like me and show them
