@Dazz541 no, actually. this video was made in 2007. Sherman used this groove in the 2008 drum off. On top of that, the grand finals take place in January of the following year (2009).

So Sherman used that groove 2 years later than this video. :)

@alanr1995 No. People will still piss and moan that your drums are too loud. As musicians they need to learn to adapt. In the same respect that doesn't mean hit the drums insanely hard, but I really see no need for a drum shield in any setting.
