But Tate Forcier is God so there shouldnt be any problems. Thats all I heard out of michigan at the begining of the season. I kept having to hear about how great this guy was, then guess what he did exactly what I said he would do, and that is flame out. Cousins was consistent this whole season. Take away the Montana State game and the numbers are almost the same 16 total tds 10 ints to 15 total tds 7 ints i only say take out Montana state because they are a 1AA opponent and Tate did not play against Michigan's 1 AA opponents Del St. so dont try to say cousins is better Tate has more upside and as a true freshmen preformed the same or better and out preformed him in the game AT STAE HEAD TO HEAD
If Dell, Sims and Gant didnt drop half of the passes thown to them think of what Cousins numbers would be. LeFevour is a very good QB as a state fan you saw the first hand However he also plays in the MAC and th edefenses are not as good as the big ten they also had been running that offense at CMU for some time. Colt was on a team loaded with talent which Texas always is and a very good defense which helped him and consistency at all coaching positions. Vs Western Cousins- 22-25 353 2 TDs. Forcier- 13-20 179 3 Tds. About the same. VS Purdue Cousins- 11-25 208 yards 3 Tds. Forcier 15-24 212 yards 1 Td. I give Cousins the advantage there. Penn State. But Tate Forcier is God so there shouldnt be any problems. Thats all I heard out of michigan at the begining of the season. I kept having to hear about how great this guy was, then guess what he did exactly what I said he would do, and that is flame out. Cousins was consistent this whole season. He only really had one bad game. And it really cant be that hard to adapt to the offense as a freshman. How many times have we seen freshman do that? Pat White in this same offense did fine as a frshamn.

I thought he played good but I knew you got to take the good with the bad and he would have some bad games to If you take the teams that cousins faced and Forcier faced they are about even and you could argue that Tate was better due to him being a TRUE FRESHMEN. Pat white did not have as good of a year throwing the football as Tate his freshmen year.

If Dell, Sims and Gant didnt drop half of the passes thown to them think of what Cousins numbers would be. FOrcier only had a good game at MSU becuase of Narduzzie calling that prevent defense and because of Young and Cironi's inability to block any D-end. Forcier will not even be close to Cousins in terms of stats next year and that is a guarantee. And enjoy watching the 34 bowl games the same way the UM players will be watching them. On TV.

How about Dan LeFevour. Basically the same offense and he had a great freshman year. Colt McCoy had a gret freshman year. Being a freshman is no longer a good excuse. Early in the season if he sturggled then I would have been fine with peopel bringing up that he is just a freshman but he should have adapted by the 5th or 6th game, and he didnt. LeFevour is a very good QB as a state fan you saw the first hand However he also plays in the MAC and th edefenses are not as good as the big ten they also had been running that offense at CMU for some time. Colt was on a team loaded with talent which Texas always is and a very good defense which helped him and consistency at all coaching positions. Vs Western Cousins- 22-25 353 2 TDs. Forcier- 13-20 179 3 Tds. About the same. VS Purdue Cousins- 11-25 208 yards 3 Tds. Forcier 15-24 212 yards 1 Td. I give Cousins the advantage there. Penn State. I would take Stonum, Roundtree, Mathews, Odoms, Hemmingway and Koger over White, Cunningham, Dell, Martin, Gannt and Linthicum's talent in a heart beat. im a state fan not a "bichigan" fan. and im not saying ohio state sucks, but when it comes to bowl games, all of the big 10 sucks. it'll be a race for the big 10 championship next year. its gonna be close again.

first of all i wasnt talking to you, i was talking to theycallmelegend. second of all we BEAT ohio, reread your comment. third of all, a team is defined by their wins and losses, not their ALMOST wins and ALMOST losses (i.e. a great 2008 usc team almost losing to arizona, cal, stanford, and ucla).

ok the team that almost lost to ohio and got crushed by usc is not even close to the buckeyes now. we have a new qb, who may not be as accurate as boeckman, but has more of the intangibles, more athleticism, and a better natural feel for the game. and plus, our starting halfback has played most of his career at 60-80%, and he can still dominate the big ten. so as long as osu continues to reign king in midwest recruiting and tressel doesnt lose his superior playcalling ability, we'll be fine.
