That is absolutely awesome! Only reason why I found this vid, is because I'm going from Denmark to Dubai and from Dubai to Bangkok with an a380 - With emirates! :-D So this was wonderful to see. Thanks for sharing with us.
@Califoast Thank you for watching Califoast, your comment is very kind and ecouraging, I'm really pleased you enjoyed watching the Emirates A380 and I hope you have a nice trip.
@shaggystu100 I dont think all major european airlines goes for airbus: KLM = 88 Boeings in different variants. Air France have all in all 73 Boeings, mostly 777's but some 747s to. Emirates will have when all aircrafts are delivered 161 777's. Norwegian have 60 737's now,and will have when deliverie ends 123 incl 6787-8's. SAS have 79 Boeing 737's,and british airways have when final deliverie is made 210 Boeings of different variants... this is some of the airlines in europe using Boeing :D
@iloveemirates100 ... with a name like yours I thought etihad was your favourite :-) only joking! Thanks a lot iloveemirates100, I'm pleased you liked the video and seeing your favourite airline up close. Thank you for sharing your comment. #aviation #emirates #A380
@emiratesengg Thanks for taking time to post such an articulate comment (sorry for the many younger viewers for the language used) the title was trying to portray the size of the aircraft, the heavy nature of the largest passenger aircraft in operation; the fact that upon landing you clearly see the size of the plane with it's enormous wings flexing as it makes touchdown. Perhaps you could help me with a more appropriate title, capturing those sentiments, I'd be grateful.
@emiratesengg And it shows again... over 30 years old and acting like a baby... LOL... If you used your head to think, you would maybe know that a Airbus A380 actually can land weighing 391 tonnes(391.000 Kilograms) IF you actually mean what you wrote you REALLY should check up on what a heavy landing is. Like #bananamanuk wrote,it is the weight and size of the HUUUUUGE jumbo, not a possible hard landingthat is named a HARD landing... Dude, please, come on...
@dancindave100@Emirates A380 Video - Hi Dancindave100 thanks for watching my video of Emirates A380's up close at Manchester, I'm glad you enjoyed it. These aircraft are becoming more and more common, so maybe it won't be long until you're able to get on one.. you never know these big things may even come equipped with a dancefloor :-)
@shaggystu100 we used to get the BAC1-11s in at Stansted about 10 years ago as Ryanair were operating those as well as 737-200s and also AB Aurlines Air Belfast & Air Bristol used to fly them as well. Shame I didn't get any footage of those back then! I suspect the 757's will be around for some time to come. We need as much variety as possible everyone seems to be heading to just a few aircraft types, makes spotting much more dull!
@shaggystu100 Hi thanks for watching my #A380 @manchesterairport video I'm glad you liked it. The A380 is surprisingly quiet for it's size. This was part of the design characteristics. You'll notice that each new generation aircraft tends to be quieter as the engines have newer technology. However, those 757s sound brilliant. I'm glad you liked this video and thanks for watching.
@joshuan542 haha good comment Joshuan542, that made me smile, but remember the great thing about us humans is that each of us has different tastes, likes and dislikes. I think the A380 may be an acquired taste but nonetheless it's an impressive thing to see, even if it is the "big momma" of the skies!
@dmscomgmailcom Hi dmscomgmailcom thanks for watching my A380 video at Manchester. It's one huge aeroplane isnt' it. The wings are massive, the flex looks pretty cool on landing.
@mghaz hello mghaz thank you for watching my videos. All of my videos include engine aircraft sounds. My video begins with a musical introduction (title sequence) followed by the video with sound. I hope you do not have a problem with your player.
Hi David Excellent camera work and lovely shots of the A380, can you tell me where you film from you seem to be opposite the Aviation viewing park. Thanks for posting.
@grahamneel Hello Grahamneel thanks for your comment about my #emirates a380 video. I am indeed on the other side of the airport from the viewing park. If you find the Holiday Inn at Wilmslow go into their carpark and you;ll see a small road leading off (it's over a small bridge) you can park along this little road. Then take the public footpath through the park area and you'll be along the runway. Note that you need to be fairly fit to do the walk because it's all uphill to start with
@bananamanuk Glad you kept your eye at the viewfinder, else, i would have missed the best ever video of A380 landing...:)). BTW you edit very well; good stuff. All the best, will keep checking for new videos.
I have to admit, I don't usually like music in aircraft videos but I really liked that introduction! Quick, some very nice shots and a nice blue gradient. Overall excellent video, keep them coming.
@ManAirportSpotter Thanks for your comment ManAirportSpotter, I have to say that all my videos feature music at the start as I always include a title sequence as part of my style of editing. I am pleased you liked the look of this video and thank you for taking time to comment.
@MrPhotographyUK Yea.. the A380 actually need 1100ft shorter distance on takeoff at MTOW than the 747-400ER.. at MTOW the A380 needs around 9000-9100 ft runway... that is shorter than all the A340 variants, shorter than 777F,-200ER,-200LR,-300 and -300ER and MD-11...all ofcourse at MTOW tho... quite spectacular if you ask me :D
@fabrice42160 Hi, thanks as always. I've been to LHR once and saw the Emirates, Air France and Qantas A380's but as you say, the views are obstructed making videos very difficult. Good for photography though.
@frequentairbusflyer8 Cheers frequentairbusflyer8 I appreciate your comments and your support. I'm really happy to read that you added this to your favourites too!,
man you are just a total expert at this, along with the dvd and music making. the sound is excellent, and the detail of the videos too, personally, i prefer your videos to any other spotter out there, i can't believe you have much less publicity than them
@eitlean6881 eitlean6881 you are very very kind. Thank you. There are a lot of very good aviation videographers on Youtube and I am really pleased you enjoy my videos as well. I know the music can be a bit of an acquired taste but I use it to differentiate my work and I'm really happy to hear you like it. Thank you again. Tonight I was comparing sizes of aircraft A380 vs 757 etc but after your comment I think I am comparing head size before reading and after!
Very nice footage and filming. You did a very amazing job! One day I will go to manchester for filming. Seems to be the best place in the world to film airplanes!
@CphAirport Thanks very much CphAirport there's no doubt that Manchester offers some great locations for filming and photography - easily the best in the UK just for facilities and the fact people are welcomed. Sometimes it's difficult as there are often lots of people there, and that can affect the sound quality - but well worth a visit if you have the opportunity.
@TheWorldsAirlines Thanks very much I appreciate you watching my videos. This aircraft is massive - it's not until you see it next to another aircraft that you realise just how big it is.

Hey Dave!
Excellent videos,
tremendous shooting angle, zooming, trimming and close up,
Little have such channel,
but the problem is........ I can't hear the airplane voice. I watched 4 videos and they are all without engines sound.
Really this made me upside down....why do you remove airplanes engine sound from your vids.
But after all I'm subscribing and wish to hear airplanes' sound
