i once fought like 10 waves late in the game with an unmanned jeep,a mortar and a spec ops soldier.it was awesome

Put a mortar pit in the middle that have trenches on the side with barb wire and sand bags in front of it. includ cam nets to avoid arty. behind a half track field hospital and another cam net for that and a pill box for my sig and officer. 2 tanks on each side with a cam net and in the back snipers aa guns and mortar pit with 5 mortars in it.

Got a gold medal once with Sarge, bunch of standard troops and a 20mm AAA. Got over 200 kills, half of those by Sarge who got to 100exp! All fell apart when he died though, couldn't use heroism fast enough...

this does involve medals the one is when you get 10 soldiers to NCO's (second lieutenants Lt.'s) and the other one is when you survive 1000 waves in less than 25 missions and the one with the NCO's gives you a free officer and the other one gives you all your starting soldier M1 Garands so i wanna see how good are you without theese bonuses (also you probably got the bronze and silver medal which give you 6% bonus to you rifle skill which is much and if ya got the gold medal then its 9% bonus)

ugh, I used this strategy, and I died really fast when my 3 gunners ran away because of low moral... I even had an officer there :(

This strategy is gonna make me lose the chance to get the medals where you have to do a certain amount of stuff before a certain level

@number5800 hey use the engineers they are the most effective, put them at front in bunkers, but put the mines at very front but stay out of the effective range, put heavy gunners and engineers at the front in bunkers and put mines at every silence. I think I won a silver medal.

heres a wayto save tactical points but its kinda hard you need to rank up a frenchie unitl it reaches officer or NCO. This gets you a medal which gives the French Resistance soldiers 100 health hope this is good info lol

heres a tip for trying to get your soldiers to just go to the location and inore shooting the eemy you can just use tehold fire option it works for me alot when im retreatng to another location ordering my soldier to get a crate or most importantly for soldiers with grenades or mortars so the dont hit you own men when firing

gunners would be so helpful if they had more than 15 average rifle skill, the gunners here are more of an exception than the rule

gunners on a bunker to pin them down while a mortar does the hard work used to be a good strategy, but the sheer amount of vehicles that show up after wave 80 made it useless

the medal requires u to complete 1000 waves before ur 25th mission. If u are past mission 25 you do need to reset ur character.

@WatchMeGoXtreme hey you know what I did, I was just playing it for the first time.I made bunkers at front, I put land mines in front just at the very front, and kept all machine gunners and engineers at front, then I put the rifle men at back. the tanks and everything just blew up even before they came, and grenades were useless because there was no one at the range they were droped. I went up to 100 waves, how ever when I lost my engineers i lost, but it was fun mostly engineers were used.

Meritorious Unit commendation (survive 1000 waves before mission 25) I have 25 medals! one of which increases my TP by one so my TP limit is now 21. I haven't seen anyone else with that one :D
