@jatinman40 doubt it, lag is usually a cause of either overheating of a component, bad graphics card, CPU, ram, or even slow internet. It could be anything, would be hard to track it down from where I am.

@DsHokage3D you could look into "wegame" - it's a free game capture software, works just as well. I've tried both, but I found that fraps gives better quality.

I actuarly tried wegame. Sadly there is no sound when you record :S. But anyways nice video

@DsHokage3D if you're in winXP and you use a USB headset, then that's the reason there is no sound. Same thing for Fraps. I had sound in the video because for a few minutes, I disconnected my USB headset so that the default drivers were primary.

It's weird. I've recorded L4D2 videos with both Wegame and fraps on windows7 and sound works fine there. So far I've only noticed that issue with windows XP

@DsHokage3D weird then. my wegame on win7 records all sound whether my usb headset is connected or not. I just have the sound issue on windows XP.

Maybe a reinstall will help? Not sure though, I haven't used it as much since I got Fraps.
