after a month i had to pull it off my cb400 since just took space and didnt work, slided on the round tube ,and hung upside down, sorry but its a dull way to loose money. maybe it works on a alloy 4 edge frame ,i just dont have it.
@transdetendal Yes, you’re right, our Dual injector needs to be mounted from a flat surface (as in the bottom of a box section swing arm) and not an old round tubed affair. If you want to speak to us call +44 (0)141 955 1100 and we can help you get it working.
I have Scottoiler with a dual injector. And It doesn't work ! I've checked everything and it seems that the oil bottle doesn't give oil. Only when I put it on Prime it reales just a little drop of oil at one time. I just know what to do about it !!!
@Motosadik You first have to determine whether it’s the RMV or the Dual injector which is blocked. Pull out the Dual injector feed pipe from the clear delivery tube to see if you get oil flow on a normal setting (not prime). If not, it’s the RMV (contact Scottoiler tech) if you do, pull out the injector nibs on the Dual injector and check for a blockage here.
I just installed this on a Honda CBR600F4 just now and although it took me about an hour and a half (mostly looking where the best position for the whole V-System would be) it was a really easy install and I can't wait to find out how long my new chain will last.
Hi hants. We are terribly sorry for not getting back to you but we had problems with our YouTube account. A general fault in the YouTube system did not allow us to reply to comments made. Please call our technical service at
I have just bought the Mk7 kit and chose to buy the extra dual injector as well. I have now fitted it all on to my V Strom. I found this vid very useful and it helped me a great deal being a mechanical misfit!! The dual injector is an excellent idea and it works very well, and I very pleased with the whole system. Thanks. However I was a bit miffed I had to pay extra for the dual injector as an add on! Will the Mk8 have the dual injector as standard?
100% 5 Star Idea. My chain has no tight spots and barely needs adjusting after using MK7 Universal Kit Scottoiler on my Monster. I gotta get me one of those Dual injection kits, i only have a single injector and noticed the chain a bit dry on the other side. Thank You.
Thanks marsdesination! The Dual Injector simply splits the oil flow into two and delivers it onto both sides of the rear sprocket. Simple idea but works a treat!
Scottoile is a great product no doubt, Im very pleased with my Scottoile system.
I use my bike as transport (not just Sunday driving) and its difficult to find the right adjustment. So I have decided to "overflow" the chain so its trimmed for wet road riding. Yes its a bit messy; its not bad but my rear wheel is black and not aluminum silver.
This is the product to get if you just love riding your bike day in day out.
