  • I personally never really liked the Del Tarrant character, I always preferred the Roj Blake character. It was a bloody shame Blake went out of the series, liked he did but Garet Thomas made his choice and was not elbowed out of the series. I have read in a book called Liberation that the third series episode Volcano, was originally written with both Blake and Jenna still involved instead of Tarrant and Dayna.I think to have had ten seasons of B7, would have been good and not losing Blake at all

  • I think that if Colin Baker had been cast as Blake, instead of Gareth Thomas Colin who have never quit the series after series two ended. I was gutted about losing Blake, if Blake had stayed for series three we may have got series four and it is possible the series might have run a lot longer than it actually did. It is hard really to know what would have happened, I still think if Colin Baker had played Blake he would never have left like Gareth did which was a shame but there you are .

  • @rojblake82

I'm having a hard time imagining Colin Baker as Roj Blake. I don't know why I feel such loyalty to Gareth Thomas ('hard to respect an actor who never watched a single episode of his own show), but in my mind he is so intrinsically tied to the role of Blake that I can't imagine anyone else with the right kind of earnestness and idealism. But I doubt that it was his leaving alone that killed the series. After all, it continued after Thomas left. There are even some who liked it more.

  • They should have done a crossover episode in which Dr Who shows up in Blakes7.

  • what a fab show, jolly decent of you to put it up. Wizzard!!!

  • @madmaxen

    ta!

  • I never missed an episode of Blakes 7. Its is the best thing to come out of Great Britain. Back in my Uni days, I use to make up any excuse to watch Blake's 7 rather than go out. Well done BBC and cast.

Blakes 7 is still worthy watching today, in same vain as Hogans Heroes, whose humour is still funny 40 years on

  • Take the sphere in both hands and state your name... I said Both Hands... Good, well done, thanks for listening...

Sat-Navs are tricky to deal with now but in the future they really start getting cocky...

  • Top notch, man! Very appreciated by myself. Thanks!

  • one of the best episodes of a very memorable and influential show, thanks for the upload

  • the guy in red, the intergalctic quaterback, is that supposed to be blake? only ever saw one other episode, that was "Orac"

  • The guy in red is Del Tarrant, a former military pilot turned rogue. His character and a couple of others were added after three of the original characters were killed or went missing. They had to keep the crew complement at seven, after all.

  • a childhood dream broken

  • Lol - when he teleported down he said 'down and safe. if this is an idea of a habitable planet they should go back to the drawing board' - looks like a typical English day (cold and bleak)

  • Avon threated to kill Tarrent earlier, now Tarrent's talking about what they've been through together. Is Avon playing mind games, making them all feel guilty for resenting him so they feel they should make up and be loyal...?

  • really amazing jerky camera effect...did they steal that from kubrik's faking the moonshot missions in an underground hangar on area 51, with the help of disney's "imagineers"

it's a small hoax universe, after all

  • You should really keep a checklist of the anti-psychotic medications you're on, so you won't have to rely on your memory to make you take them all.
