Sorry for the late reply - and no, sorry, 'minstrel' is not a class.

I just liked the idea that in a D&D-style universe where some singer/songwriters can warp reality with music, there are still guys (like Stephen of Tyler) who just play instruments.

Both the actor (Sam) and the character are really just Experts with all of their feats in skill-focus: Perform.
