  • Atheist! cool

  • An actual Christian argument for not keeping kosher would have been: "Not what goes into the mouth defiles a man, but what comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man." (Matt. 15:11)

I know, it's meant as a joke, but I still like to maintain accuracy.

  • @catbass93 contradiction?

  • @purawebs In the context of the whole Bible, perhaps. But Jesus makes clear in Matthew's Gospel that the ceremonial laws (including the kosher rubrics) are not half so important as honoring things like "love your neighbor as yourself." (Matt. 19:19)

  • I watched this and I thought my right earbud wasn't working, tricky.

  • "Religions that are actively trying to recruit new converts","loudest religions" good point.

"If Buddhaism and Judaism are not making any effort for me then neither will I." hahaha!! These videos are great!

  • notice he has a bible in th backround

  • It's not that hard to research the Baha'i Faith.

  • @TMoney699 I think you missed the point of the video. its a satire.

  • When he said the thing about bacon I was like, wait, Christians can't eat bacon?

    Hilarious.

  • LMAO!?!? 2:34

  • islam is #2? oh wow interesting . O_o

  • @gattler care to elaborate?

  • @TerminalSulcus how and in what form? im pretty confused lol

  • @gattler lol what did you mean by 'islam is number 2'?

  • @gattler well, i've studied islam as well but maybe not so thoroughly like this man, as well as other religions etc. but i actually would of honestly guessed that Judaism but Islam? that took my breath away lol! i would understand why other systematic religions would not be up there because they never impacted the planet as much as the religions that lead to the path in believing in 1 omnipotent being which is God,Jehovah, etc.(many names)but no, no true meaning why, just interesting lol

  • @ImCausingTraumaZ

On the discussion you gave a link at:

Dr. Naik is very misleading. For example: On the subject of embreology Dr Cambell listed a very, very big amount of errors in the Quran. How did Dr. Naik adress those errors? Did he point any mistakes in Dr Cambells reasoning out? Did he show linguistical problems that explain why current translations are in in error? Were Dr Cambell's sourses in error?

NO, he awnserd: "I know a Embrologist who says the Quran is right."

  • @ImCausingTraumaZ

    The Quran says:

014:010->the earth was created before the sun and the stars

016:066->milk comes from the cows belly's

085:5-7 ->semen comes from a mans ribs and backbone

091:1-2 ->the moon follows the sun

081:002->stars can fall from the sky

    AND

054:022->the quran is easy to understand.

  • @wybo2 And important thing you've forgot : Internet does not care about fucking islam so stop posting phrase-comments.

  • @Iwillgetyou2 What are phrase-comments?

  • He forgot my god, Cthulhu

  • @ImCausingTraumaZ ther are very big sientific errors in the quran as wel.

  • 2:36 LOL

  • in islam women is not inferior to men, yes they are maybe different but they stay equal.

  • @randomguyalwayshere Islamic medium is actually being confused with the Arabian medium, the Arabs are always dictators to women and children, so they took these traditions and shoved it up in Islamic beliefs and started to do shit...(I am from Egypt).

  • many religions encourage people to join but are not so outright as Christianity and Islam.

  • History of Jesus, written within 30-75years after hsi death or Islam 300 years after jesus death written in a cave... I dont know who to choose

  • @mikekrnboy

Islam, Christianity's bible has to many errors.. look it up if you don't believe me.. and the whole 3 god thing does not make any sense

  • @wwweee121 The Koran has errors too.

  • @patrickthesaint

    Name me some.

  • @wwweee121 I'll make it easy for you.

    - Get out a quill pen and ink.

    - Copy each word in the Koran from beginning to end.

    - Repeat the process, this time making a copy of the copy.

    - Repeat the process a thousand fold.

    - Send each Koran to the editor to be compared to the original.

I guarantee you, you'll have millions of errors. That's how it was done for centuries before the printing press.

  • @patrickthesaint

that just made it confusing.. Now i'll make it easy for you, Name me ONE error in the Quran

  • @wwweee121 I'll name several:

    - The Quran claims it is the original of the three monotheisms. It is clearly plagiarized from Christian and Jewish texts.

    - The Quran claims Muhammad split the moon in two. Why no witnesses?

    - The Quran claims Jesus was an ordinary man chosen by God whom Christians subsequently deified. Secular research suggests he was a mythical figure derived from earlier pagan gods.

Now it's your turn, try copying the Koran the old-fashioned way without making errors.

  • @patrickthesaint

-God sends a prophet to deliver the message and some commandments but each time the commandments get corrupted by man made traditions, god sends a new prophet to restore the commandments

-NASA discovered a crack on the moon if u dont believe me research it

-mohammed isnt a myth, history confirms that

i want u to go and read the verses in the quran regarding the ppl of the book so u wud know which comandments of the bible may have got altered

the quran is a literate masterpiece

  • @lavajets

-Why did Allah allow his message to get corrupted? Doesn't he want people to follow him?

-Yes Muhammad existed, but did all the events in his life happen, or have they been exaggerated?

-To determine which parts of the Bible have been corrupted, I'd need the original Qur'an. Can you produce this?

-I'd also need the original Bible before it was corrupted. Can you produce this?

  • @lavajets Really NASA discover a crack on the moon..!??? please proof ur claim from NASA website. only Arab & Islamic websites talk about this myth..

btw I used to be Muslim, born and raised by religious family in the "HOLY" Mecca, so I know the truth about Islam and Mohammad

  • @lavajets wow a crack in the moon you definitly coverted me

  • @wwweee121 I almost forgot, produce the original Islamic texts and compare them to the current. That way, you can prove to me the Koran has not been modified.

  • voodoo

  • BAHAHAHAH

  • i laughed so hard at the bit were you say that the holy spirit looks like a pidgeon and when you showed that pic of the trinity combined that my mom thought i was having an athsma attack!!!!! Lol

  • Rastafarianism FTW.

  • what are crustatians? sorry i am finnish. are they some kind of animals. example answer. com Answer:

crustatian means a animal with a shell for example : a crab has a shell!!!!

how does that refer to the bible

  • @ewtgarwar In the Jewish tradition, they are "shell fish" (beyond that, they are fish without scales), and so they are not kosher. Technically the Christian bible still has that in it. But that's in the part that also bans bacon.

  • @ewtgarwar Also he was sort of joking there, as he was making up a biblical sounding book name, (sounds like galatians) but since the bible never actually says "he didn't mean that red sauce or brown" it wouldn't be there.

  • Confucianism is a philosophy not a religion 0:24

  • Islam people cause nearly all of the suicides bombing, killing, terrorist actions in the world... Muslims suck!

  • @MultiSheepsheep

They're no Muslims but sick minded evil people. If you aske me I'll say they are demons. All religions were brought to earth in order to correct those kind of mischievious lifestyle and actions of our kind (humankind) because we are so primitive and violent, which is a pity. So, when ''I'' think of it, it makes sense to me that God IS merciful, possessing the power to create all there is outta nothing and destroy and re-create, yet we still exist and remain with all our pity.

  • @TheKivanchly religion is just a way for political officials to keep us in line

  • @TheKivanchly muslims are demons? well you christians are the ones who destroyed ur own people your the reason for war you idiotic demonic pig

  • @MultiSheepsheep the people who do that are not muslims they just call themselves that to cause hatred you idiot ur religion sucks and there are bad people in each religion you shit

  • Bacon... Wives... Bacon... Wives...

    So hard to choose. x_x

  • How could you left neo paganism out....just because we have more than one god...Its the one and only religion..you should have stayed with us.

  • and looks like a pidgin XD

  • @Roj899 Wow ... the people at the temple I went to lied then :L

  • Sorry, but just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you hate homosexuals...I have gay friends and family members and I'm all for gay marriage but I'm a practicing Catholic...

  • @ZAPdontlook And by that belief you disagree with the doctrine you follow.

  • @12Metaman On that one issue, yeah, I do. But just because of one little thing I'm not going to leave the religion that I believe in. The pope doesn't control the thoughts and opinions of Catholics like so many people think he does. We can have our own opinion on things and want our Church to change.

  • @ZAPdontlook lol i have heard the catholics dont repect the bible and here you are

  • "If their not gonna make the effort then neither am I" brilliant

  • If we presume you have to choose between these two religions for an average bloke like myself the choice is quite obvious. Chances of having the "good" threesome without paying for it or using hallucinogenic drugs are equal to those of god's existence... and also when you count that Islam also prohibits alcohol then it's completely clear. So bottoms up and Holy Hippy Pigeon Zeus FTW !

  • Actually Christianity allows more than one wives too even if its not in practice today. But having more wives is only prohibited for bishops in the Bible!

  • @Kostyasch That's pretty mediocre and somewhat ridiculous of a religion. Sorry for bashing it but I could't resist.

  • Who wants a threesome when you could be eating bacon!?

  • sex or bacon................ bacon

  • FSM ftw?

  • @ArchelStudio Good question! I too am a Christian for about 50 yrs.So I have only prayed to 1 God. And its always worked for me so Ive had no reason to believe otherwise.Science is just a theory of man & what he believes to be true. But only until you had prayers answered can you believe. One thing for sure,we're ALL gonna die.I guess then you'll have your answer. My heart tells me we're on the right track.

  • @flyin2low2c sure we are on the right track, promoting wars all over the planet, in the name of god...

Fuck you, fuck you all, you should lose a leg in a war, then question your fuckin god.

The real gods are the media, warfare corporations, church, medical industry, food and water industry, and the list continues.

    wake up asshole

  • 2:35 ?? lol

  • Buddhism has Over 10,000 gods , so ... it would have been eliminated then XD

  • @deidara003 Are you talking about Hinduism? I'm sure Buddhism doesn't have gods. That would be a personal belief.

  • @roxyosox122 Buddhism doesn't have more than 1 god thats why it was up there. It doesn't have more than one because it has none. He just didn't feel like details were necessary, because they aren't

  • @roxyosox122 Eh ... no I was a buddhist at one point , it does have gods.

  • brilliant! :)

  • Do Muslims really have threesomes? If so, is it OK if the two wives interact with each other during, or would that constitute homosexuality, which they oppose?

  • I don't know any Christians who refuse to eat bacon for religious reasons. I've met a lot of Christians. They're actually very adamant about their omnivorous diets and their desire to eat every animal. I don't know why, but Christians think vegetarianism is automatically connected to secular theological beliefs and left-wing political beliefs. It's not. I'm a Christian and a vegan. They avoid meat on Fridays during Lent. I avoid it all the time.

  • =))))) awsome trinity out there:)))

  • 2:30 hahahahahahah!!!!!!

  • Brilliant.

  • I am trying to pick a religion, someone help. I have nothing against homosexuals, in fact I quite like them. More than one wife or husband, sure, but only if they are divorced. I eat bacon. I am a girl......Uhh........I believe I will be allowed a second life as another human, preferably one of my choice. I also believe in birth control and condoms and such if needed....I don't really have a problem with tattoos and piercings to the point where it would affect my religion. I believe in God.

  • @JanieisADBBDBA

just create your own religion...its how every other religion started

  • @JanieisADBBDBA I recommended Islam,

  • Judaism, Christianity, and Pisslam: three fraud organizations.

  • women are not inferior to men in christianity, that is a common misconception, but this is not the right place to talk about it..

  • @highlander2583 Why isn't this the right place to talk about it?

  • In Islam u are allowed to marry upto 4 times

but u cannot have more than 1 wife at a time

read their Quran before posting some bullshit

  • @wowwow180

    Actually you can

  • lol omg, you just have to consider rasta as well.. Btw that pigeon is funny:DDDD

  • rastafarianism comes with a few perks... lol.

  • I respect other religions, and I believe in Christianity and Jewish but I am a Muslim. one of the conditions to be Muslim is to believe in Christianity , Jewish and Islam are religions from same one God and Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed (peace be upon them) are just humans and prophets. the holy spirit is Gabreal who carry the messages from God to the prophets but he is not a god and just a slave of the God. these are the main points in Islam and I love it.

    watch?v=cR7Ea8T8sTQ

  • Catho-islam. Think about it. It'll will have all the best features of both. And enough followers to over power most of the other religons in the world.

  • @DimensionsofChange : you mean bacon AND a threesome? Wow :-)

  • @VincentandCoBxl And Jesus, and the ability to see Mecca and Cat Stevens, and if we throw in the jews we can celebrate Hanukah right before Christmas each year.

  • @DimensionsofChange : Just do it, man! Lots of people would love to have such a religion. What do we do about the leader? I wouldn't want a leader for life, but if you write the holy book, I'd agree to grant you a 5 year term as prophet/leader, provided that you don't pretend you had a vision.

  • @VincentandCoBxl First we must get the pope to end celibacy in clergy, and re-establish the caliph as a female. Then we get the pope to do the nasty with her holiness exactly in-between Western church Christmas and Ramadan. Leader for life...I'll let god decide that one. As for the holy book, I'd get ride of most of the old testament, and anything restricting sex, & glue it to the parts of the Koran that don't conflict. And I take full credit for this one, divine intervention nothing

  • @DimensionsofChange I guarantee you all the atheists would either join and stop being D-bags or their heads would explode in anger at its awesomeness

  • So many religions,so many Gods. But yet not one has come forward and made their presence known (physically) at least none that can be documented other than heresay. Maybe when the end comes, we will find out we were ALL wrong. Til then why not bring forth your good side & stop judging the rest of the world.Isnt it much easier to live in peace than in war? War is just a product of fear. You were not born to fear,You were taught to fear.Same with hate.Fight the good fight. Later!

  • @flyin2low2c Someone must be right. I'm a Christian. Yet, according to science, there is no afterlife. So, what is there left?

  • @ArchelStudio Science makes no such claim...Atheists might, but science can't test metaphysical claims. Anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about science

  • @flyin2low2c Well, if Juche is a religion then their god (Kim Il-Sung/Kim Jong-Il and prolly the next Kim as well) have existed. Their fashion sense leaves something to be desired though.

  • @flyin2low2c Reminds me of when I was little,I did not know about ghosts or gods,So my mom used to tell me, she punished me for something bad i did and locked me in some dark room all alone and she told me when she found me,I was never scared of anything ,not of dark, not of ghosts, not of voices, not bugs ,animals ,nothing , So when we are born we are born godless and fearless, Humans teach us to fear ,they create such negative things in our minds :)

  • @flyin2low2c I've often wondered about that. I mean if there was a religion with a God and the God was going to come forward how would they prove their divinity? I mean I personally can't actually think of anything they could do that at least on some level I would think "well you could in theory do that without being a God if you had the technology and the understanding"

  • Hinduism only has one god... but It has 300 million forms :D

  • @sithoius no it doesn't -.-. they have closer to 300,000 gods first of all and one main god... they are the prime example of a polytheistic religion in modern times.

  • @wasentme222 It depends on what type of hinduism you believe, but its normally around 300,000 OR millions. And nope... there all one god, but different forms of it, its still technically a monotheistic religion. sorta.

  • @wasentme222 But there all forms of the same god?

  • Jus stop right their! Everybody knows Scientology is the only and best religion EVAR! How could you be so blind?!

  • @pwnerPuppy i'd have to say the FSMism is (or Pastafarianism) :3 did you know that global warming is due to the lack of pirates in the world and our religion is ten times the size of christianity?

  • @pwnerPuppy o and it's free, you don't have to pay unlike most other religions (e.g christianity, which blows anyway)

  • This is supposed to be funny...? Why are people arguing?

  • @MelancholyArmy -sniff-THEY STARTED IT :'(

  • @hgfcyicf Who are you fighting for? Christianity? I'm a Christian myself, but honestly, you make me sick. No mature man (or woman, whatever you are) would spout out appalling language at such a massive challenge. You may have passed the eighth grade, but I seriously recommend you go re-take it, and try studying the English language again while you're at it.

You may find this hard to believe, what with your sheltered educatuion, but there is a difference between Muslims... and terrorists, ok?

  • @dinoman64 I third that.

    I mean what a prick.

  • i like tacos ._.

  • @ZINGRAFLE Well said.

  • @AnimePhreak786 Well put :D

  • @AnimePhreak786 Maybe one of these days when you get pass the eighth grade and realize that inverted claims do not make up for adolescent stupidity nor lack of knowledge, you'll appreciate the fact of my calling you a completed and youth-natured stupid fuck. :)

Oh, and there 's only one "terrorist card" and that's your Koran.

Now go read yourself a "Islamic jihad" terrorist bedtime story little stupid fuck.

This will be your nick name from now on: "Little Stupid Fuck". rofl bt

  • @AnimePhreak786

I know where to find the takiya command in the Koran asshole. And one can spell takiya with K or Q dumbass, just like Koran or Quran. Maybe you should learn how to capitalize at the beginning of a sentence before you can someone ignorant, you think???

  • @AnimePhreak786 Are you that fucking stupid that you can't follow a thought pattern on a foundation issue?

You want to follow the religion of a Nazi-like Jew murderer and child-bride molester, follow the him to hell dumb-ass.

Then you have the audacity to call me a racist you Allah be damned Jew-Hater!

Yes, I will use that 9/11 "terrorist card" mother fucker! While you willingly take up for the bastards!

  • @AnimePhreak786 You don't know what I'm talking about because you don't know Islam.

The Jewish Banu Qurayza tribe that Muhammad himself murdered and enslaved the women and children was neither just, merciful, compassionate, and above all, he certainly didn't have any truth. He was an Arabian warlord that mixed religion with conquest that sought the murder of all who opposed him.

I see you couldn't denounce Islamic terror groups. It must be that "religion of peace" you have that prevented you?

  • there's no such thing as Crustatians

  • @AnimePhreak786 When I see you here on You Tube denouncing to high hell Hamas, Hezbolla, Islamic Jihad, and Al Fatah, then I'll believe that you believe what your saying however ignorant you may be in not seeing the jihad among the martyr bomb belts. But your next post will no doubt "justify" in the most fucked up ways known to humanity these groups because you hate Israel and Jews, which will only show that your "Islam is a religion of peace" statements are nothing more than takiya bull shit.

  • @hgfcyicf Both of you, how did WilcoCharlie put it? 'You're resorting to Ad hominem attacks, and they'll never work because of of...' something. BUT THE POINT IS you're bickering like little girls, honestly.

  • @TheMoVids I read the Koran with its history, I study that history with its culture. I don't leave room for guess work. Again, Mohammed didn't conquer all of Arabia by preaching conversion or by defensive wars. Oh no, he conquered Arabia by the sword as reflected in his Koran. He was a jihadist and his Koran is his jiadist book.

Islam spread throughout the Middle East the same way - ""through jihadism"" from Damascus to Cordoba, Spain in Islam's first 100 years. Islamic Jihad continues today

  • @AnimePhreak786 Tell that to the 900 hundred men and boys (barely old enough to show pubic hair) of the Banu Qurayza tribe of Yathrib (Medina). Tell that to any of the pagan tribesman who didn't submit to Islam after the four month treaty time was complete.

Sura 9:5, 29, 73 (the sword sura) tells it all and indicates that you are the one full of "religion of piece" shit .

The truth is you know Islam is a religion of jihad just by looking at how Islam spread.

Your "Al-Takiya" don't work with me.

  • I think you've chosen your religion too quick. Haven't you ever heard this Arab proverb: "If the mountain won't come to Mohammed, Mohammed must go to the mountain" ? :-)

  • @AnimePhreak786 I was using the word "infidel" because that was the original term MoVids used in his post that I was responding to. I was staying on the same word-terminology he was.

So what is your point? Are you concluding that because the word "infidel" is a Christian Crusader term the Koran and Islam is therefore guilt-free of murdering and oppressing the "kafirs" of Islam. You know what a "kafir" and "dhimmis" means don't you Anime? No B.S. Islam has made more use of "infidel" than anyone.

  • @hgfcyicf When did I say Infidel? :S

  • YAY shamanism was mentioned :D

  • Jehova's witnesses.. One god, and VERY actively trying to recruit :)

  • Cheers!

  • i loled at 4:07

    MAKE MORE VIDS

  • Why when your talking about Christian Gods, it has the Hebrew name for God above them?

  • @MrWhoization Because the Christian gods started out as Hebrew gods, and as far as I know they never changed their name.

  • @somegreybloke It seems as if every religion spawned from Judaism.

  • Bases of religions that speak in the name of God:

    Judaism = God himself!

Christianity and Islam = people in his name.

  • You may also want to consider that if you go with Islam, you'd have to go to Mecca, which is in the Middle East, which I believe is almost always in some kind of fighting there. And the air fair I'm sure is quite expensive.

  • Go check out all the religions. You'll meet lots of freindly people, hear some good music, and get some free food.

In short, check "All of the above."

  • spirit looks like a pidgeon

  • @WhiteDragon103 But if you look at Matthew 12.1-8; Mark 2.23-28 it clearly states that following all of the old laws is not required. 1One Sabbath when Jesus and his disciples were walking through some wheat fields, [a] the disciples picked some wheat. They rubbed the husks off with their hands and started eating the grain. 2Some Pharisees said, "Why are you picking grain on the Sabbath? You're not supposed to do that!"

  • Ok, having more than one wife is wrong on SO many levels, bastard. and, Christianity does not state ANYWHERE that women are inferior to men. that's sexist to think that you are, especially since you make crappy videos when you could actually make something of your life.

  • THIS IS WHY IM AN ATHIEST ........good day to you all

  • Comment removed

  • lmao

    God comes in different designs

    That killed me

  • You are allowed to have multiple wives as a Christian, aren't you? Or was it multiple slaves? It's easy to get them confused if you read the Bible...

  • @viridismonasteriense Don't confuse us with Mormans. Also, something a lot of people don't understand is that Christianity is under the New Testament, and no Old Testament laws are in effect. That means no stonings, multipule wives, concubines, kings, slaves/servants, etc.

  • @DefendinMyBase Kings? Is it not the Kingdom of Heaven Jesus speaks of over and over again?

Matthew 13:41-42 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

The OT, how horrific it may seem, does not preach punishment after death in hell, nor original sin, which are both despicable NT concepts!

  • @DefendinMyBase Or how about the treatment of women?

1 Peter 3:1-7 Women be submissive to your husbands.

For this is the way the holy women of the past who put their hope in God used to make themselves beautiful. They were submissive to their own husbands, 6like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her master. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear. "

Is this what you want to build your life on? Is this how you treat a fellow human?

  • @DefendinMyBase You said: "Christianity is under the New Testament, and no Old Testament laws are in effect."

    I beg to differ:

Matt 5:17-18 17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished."

He's either Yahwe or no God at all.

  • @viridismonasteriense Alright, when Jesus said that, the Old laws were still in effect because he was still alive. Testament means Covanent or Law, so those were old laws. We're under the New Law. Yes women should be submissive to their husbands, but husbands should respect and protect their wives. Does that mean women should just be dorrmats? No of course not. Again, I was refering to kings of humanity, not the Kingdom. Those are two different things. Don't take scripture out of context.

  • @DefendinMyBase Ah, but there's still a King, a system of monarchy not based on democracy that is being promoted as a 'divine' system a.k.a. the best God could come up with.

"Yes women should be submissive to their husbands, but husbands should respect and protect their wives"

Are you living in the '50s? What about equal rights damnit? What about men and women living on equal terms? Don't you agree everyone deserves the same freedoms?

A slave with a gold cage is still a slave.

  • @DefendinMyBase So suddenly God changed the rules, changed his mind, even though he's claimed to be unchanging, forever (yadda yadda...)

If Jesus is Yahwe in human form, then it still doesn't matter whether he changed his mind about stuff. He's the flawless designer of everything. He still caused the deaths of billions. He's supposed to be perfect, but all the Bible describes is one fuckup after another and this new law would just be another correction in a new guise, a new salespitch. Come on

  • @viridismonasteriense (continued) Traditionaly men had the jobs, women kept the home. Nowadays things are different. Should women still respect their husbands? Of course, so should the men respect their wives. Is it slavery to be a good spouse? God made us, he can destroy us. To be honest he really should have thousands of years ago. He told them, don't disobey me or bad things will happen. Wouldn't ya know it? They disobeyed him and he kept his promise. You make it sound bad that he didn't lie.

  • @DefendinMyBase "They disobeyed him and he kept his promise. You make it sound bad that he didn't lie."

The bad thing is that God punished their children, their children's children, their children's children's children's children and I could go on, for PICKING FRUIT. The concept of original sin is baffling, despicable, horrible, detestable, that children are punished and held accountable for the crimes of their parents. For a crime that there's no evidence for ever having happened at all!

  • @DefendinMyBase 1 Timothy 2:11-15 "Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety."

Women shall have no authority over men. They must remain silent in obedience!

  • @DefendinMyBase (Eccles. 42:13-14) "For from garments cometh a moth, and from women wickedness. Better is the churlishness of a man than a courteous woman, a woman, I say, which bringeth shame and reproach."

There is no such thing as equality of men and women in the Bible. Women are always inferior to men, because Adam was first and Eve second in creation.

  • @DefendinMyBase "Testament means Covanent or Law, so those were old laws. We're under the New Law."

So we can ditch the Ten Commandments, that's what you're saying? Despite that Jesus distinctively said that he did not come to abolish the old laws? The old laws are, according to Jesus himself, STILL IN EFFECT, and they should always be until the entirety of God's plan has unfolded or whatever. It's what he says in Matt 5:17-18. Who are you to twist the words of your own Master?

  • @viridismonasteriense You don't get it. Not all 10 Commandments are still in effect. We no longer participate in the Sabbath, the other are also New Testament teaching. Only worship God, don't murder, don't steal, be faithful, etc. They're all in there. I never said women aren't equal to men. In marriage both people can't lead, just like in dancing. Women and men aren't completely equal in everything, most women are physically weaker than men, but women seem to think things through a lot more.

  • @DefendinMyBase "You don't get it. Not all 10 Commandments are still in effect."

Jesus' words still stand: Matt 5:17-18 17 "I have not come to abolish the laws"

"We no longer participate in the Sabbath"

Jesus kept the sabbath day. (Lk 4:16) Should his followers not follow his example?

You can't just cherrypick what you want to follow -divine commands don't work like that- just because you don't like what it says. I bet you haven't sold all your possessions yet (Matthew 19:21).

  • @viridismonasteriense Like I said, you don't get it. No New Testament laws came into effect until Jesus died. Of course He kept the Sabbath, he was a Jew! When he died, he brought forth Christianity, and since the Sabbath is a Jewish thing, and most people aren't Jewish, we no longer hold the Sabbath, we instead go to Church on Sunday. We do this as it's the first day if each week. So we worship on the begginning of the new week. Also...what is Eccles? If women have an opinion, they share it.

  • @DefendinMyBase Eccles: short for Ecclesiastes.

"If women have an opinion, they share it."

Not according to your Bible: 1 Timothy 2:12 "I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent."

So she may have an opinion, but she may not speak it nor should anyone heed her words. You're saying no women should be allowed to be the boss of men? Tell that to Hilary Clinton, Margaret Thatcher, Queen Elizabeth, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands....

  • @DefendinMyBase "Like I said, you don't get it. No New Testament laws came into effect until Jesus died."

No, you don't get it. The OT's laws were Jesus's laws. His death would change nothing, because according to Christian doctrine Jesus is not just Yahwe, but like Yahwe he is unchanging and forever. Or don't you think he's God?

He clearly stated he did not intend to make the Mosaic law obsolete, instead he clearly made alterations (even breaking a few himself, even his own rules).

  • @DefendinMyBase "Women shouldn't hold Biblical office, but they can hold political office. "

Now you're just covering your ass with semantics.

" I don't prove negatives, either you prove me wrong, or don't bother. Christianity is no longer under Old Testament Law."

Again you are the one making the claim. I beg to differ that you are the one who has to prove Christianity is no longer under Old Testament Law. Yahwe=Jesus and he specifically said the laws will *always* be in effect.

  • @DefendinMyBase What makes you think the Mosaic laws are obsolete? What indication do you have of this? According to Christian doctrine Yahwe is unchanging and forever and therefore by definition cannot change his mind. Why would Go
