  • Why do people say hateful, nasty things about Mormons ? Because they have no facts & it makes them feel superior. We are not supposed to say things that are nasty, hateful or contemptuous against others religious beliefs. We respect them for their beliefs. We are Christians. We do nothing unless it is in Jesus's name. God believing people do not waste their energy & time being ugly towards any particular church or its beliefs. We are the fastest growing church today.

  • missing from the book of mormon.

Hebrew temples, Temple ordinances , baptism for the dead. Not found. ?

The book of mormon also fails to mention Mayan stone ziggurats and pyramids.

( Aztec / Mayan are the actual former inhabitants of mesoamerica , not hebrew lamanites indians , also not found )

  • @AquiloniusPrimus Not in the same context or tone that you was referring to. If I do have a philosophy i guess it is "that which you consider to be evil, do that to no man. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

  • @AquiloniusPrimus Well, philosophies are vain my dear Watson (Sherlock Holmes :D) I am a part of a school that is based on the Vision of Moses and the Revelation of John that a man had in 1930. The school is called The Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research IDMR for short and The Urantia Book.Org But the vast majority of what I shared w/you was from The Teacher or Spirit of Truth or in other words the Savior by way of Revelation. :-)

  • @AquiloniusPrimus Another translation states URIM AND THUMMIM MEANS "TRUTH AND REVELATION." ANOTHER MYSTERY I REVEAL TO YOU IS THAT SOLOMONS TEMPLE IS THE REVELATION OF YAHSHUA TO JOHN ON HE ISLE OF PATMOS. TEMPLES MUST BE IN HOT CLIMATES. Fall - Death, Winter - Burial, Spring - Ressurection, Summer Ascension into glory. Solomon's Temple is also a representation of The Messiah's Heavenly Mansion, It is a three-fold mansion of Light.

  • @AquiloniusPrimus ALL OF THIS WAS YAHSHUA ASCENDING TO HEAVEN AS A GLORIFIED QUICKENING SPIRIT PLACED ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE SPIRIT FATHER YAHWEH. THEN RETURNING 50 DAYS LATER ON PENTECOST 7x7=49 + 1 = 50 Year of Jubilee When ALL SLAVES AND PPL WHO OWED DEBT WERE TO BE FREE! FULFILLMENT YAHSHUA PROVIDING THE LAST AND FINAL SACRIFICE AND WORKS AND THE PPL INHERITING HIS WORKS BY ACCEPTING HIS SPIRIT and THEREBY LIVING UNDER THE LAW OF GRACE. YAHSHUA IS OUR "LIGHT AND PERFECTION" OR

  • "TRUTH AND REVELATION" this is what URIM AND THUMMIM ACTUALLY MEANS. Even though Mormon's sustain the President of the Church as the seer or revelator, every temple is suppose to be a representation of the threefold tabernacle pattern, but they are not made in the same fashion and neither do they have the same instruments. None of these things must change because they all represent something pertaining to the human body, the universe, and creation as a whole! Sealing rooms were not in temples.

  • @AquiloniusPrimus I'm glad you mentioned this The Day of Atonement was Oct 10th (Libra: Scales of Justice & Mercy) in the season of Fall; The High Priest would then enter when the CLOUD OF GLORY would APPEAR signifying the presence of YAHWEH. Upon entering the MHP he would put on the garments of Beauty and Glory and then blowing his FRAGRANCE SMOKE mixing with the CLOUD OF GLORY. There is more I could explain (that you already know) but

  • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? r ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

See Mormons? God dwells in the body of every believer for our bodies are temples that house the spirit.

In the name of Jesus, stop perverting my Father's Word. Your LDS temples are an abomination in the site of YHWH.

  • nice cows

  • this is where Tithing dollars go.

  • It's a masonic lodge with a twist.

  • I agree with him because I felt a feeling go through my entire body when I took my very first step into the draper t.emple

  • Temples are the most sacred place on earth, and the place where you can feel the spirit of God, and of Jesus Christ so near.

  • its a sham man... dont buy into this b.s. you guys excommunicate members who sin... what kind of shit is that? is this where all your 1/10th money goes to? think of all the people you can help with the money you waste on building these useless pimpers palaces. these so called profits are a sham. its all a lie.

  • The fact that you would swear on a video on a topic that many hold sacred will not get you any answers to your questions There are answers to each question you posed, and you just show how much you don't know about the Church. But my guess is that you don't want to answer, just blow off steam.

  • If you truly want to find out the truth about mormons, read a book by one who was an exmormon, and a part of exmormons for christ, before he was rebaptized. He found that most were Gainsayers. To declare false; deny for personal gain. The book is called that, The Gainsayers, and you will find the source for much of your antimormon rhetoric. If you are serious about finding the Truth

  • When Christ preformed his many miracles on earth many witness them some saw them as acts of god some saw them as acts of the devil. Each of us have a obligation to determine if this is of Christ or is it of Satin. You chose in the private times of your life not on youtube or any other media source these are only vehicles to help us find our way to Him that sacrifice everything for us.

  • Luke 18.

  • Secondly the mormons try to make their temples look like hahhahahaha Cathedrals.. yet it backfired in the mormons faces cus the Cathedrals have been recently voted thee most beautiful churches in the world.. keep competing mormons you just like like assholes for doing so.. hail joseph smith the scumbag mormon prophet of satan

  • Since when is religion a competition? The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints don't proclaim the most beautiful buildings. The most sacred and holy? - well they are definitely up there. Temples are a literal dwelling place for Christ where his people can come into his presence. This is the theme of alters, the Tabernacle, the Temple in Jerusalem. The cathedrals, coincidentally are an earthly interpretation of the temple, just like a synagogue. With similar symbolism, and placement.

  • @chadreiser Temples are Plagiarised, complete with symbols and ceremony, straight from Masonic society to which Smith belonged too.

  • @chadreiser "Temples are a literal dwelling place for Christ where his people can come into his presence."

What's the point of having the Spirit of Truth and the Holy Spirit if Christ is only in Temples. "Ye are the Temple of God." Christ sits on the right hand side of the Father (Spirit) until all things are subdued under his feet.

Father (Spirit) Christ (Holy Spirit) New Covenant

Pillar of Cloud (Father) Pillar of Fire (Christ) Old Covenant

  • You're apparantly unaware of the major problems of Catholicism like transubstantiation, the eternal virginity of Mary, and even the very basis of the church's authority. Not one is correct.

Mormonism has many more problems, however, so be careful at whom you cast stones.

  • I love the peace that is felt as I enter these beautiful buildings of my God. Temples truely are a refuge from the hardships and toil going on in the world. Anyone can experience this peace by simply walking on the grounds. I love it!

  • First off the state or should I say 3rd world country of utah cus thats how the mormons run utah, and with all of the inbreeding that the mormons get off on, utah has become 50yrs behind the times, inbred mormons among thee most slow walk around like half wits wondering what the 21st century will be like someday.. they are in competition with a religion thats made up of 1.5 Billion members the Catholics to the mormons 13 million satanic cult members

  • The only God who is at the head of the Mormon Church is the master of priescrafts himself - Lucifer. With him in control the Church will continue its lust for Tithing money. Freedom of expression is also frowned upon as Lucifer forces his beliefs upon us. Free Agency, the gift from God, cannot exist in the Mormon Church. Every aspect of your life is controlled, what you eat, drink, wear, think, your time -all come under Mormon dominated control. All accomplished with ruthless efficiency.

  • The LDS Church, per capita, is the richest "church" organisation in the world. Do you really believe that the Lord is happy with the arrogant behaviour of the LDS Church as it continues to victimise and discriminate against his creations, whom he loves equally. With the Mormon Church's abundant wealth it could alleviate so many problems in the world, but it chooses to erect temples and other buildings at enormous cost. Look at 1Nephi Ch. 6 and read what he thinks of genealogy.

  • That the Mormon church massively serves mammon is luminously clear to those who are willing to receive the love of the Truth. The Bible, too, commands to avoid geneologies. But what regard do LDS have for that, or the Holy Spirit sense that Jesus is giving of Luke 18 & temples, tithing, recommends, works-righteousness, & vainglory.

  • The Church, by its own admission, has administered about $830million dollars in humanitarian aid between 1985 and 2005. (Source LDS Humanitarian Aid Update Issue 3 - 2006). The Church takes in about $9 billion dollars in Tithes EACH YEAR! In other words the LDS Church gives a very tiny proportion of its immense wealth to feeding and caring for the poor and needy in the world (approx. less than 1% of total income). Not exactly what the Lord had in mind as he delivered his sermons.

  • Disneyland can create this with their wealth. Hotels can be havens of opulence and charismtaic lifestyle. Mormon Temples can appear as glorious celestial kngdoms where deity dwell in neverending glory. Celestial beings will serve and all others will be served upon. Happiness will abound as all desries will be realised in their sphere of individual happiness.

  • Ive stayed in some nice hotels but I didn't see any baptismal fonts on the backs of twelve oxen or paintings depicting the life of the Saviour. And before I entered nobody checked to make sure I was a servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Pray that the Beautiful God Christ Jesus break in upon the consciousness of the Mormon church, tearing down the demonic strongholds which have been built up in their thinking & wrecking their unsanctified, self-absorbed imaginations, that they might arise anew, transfused with the Truth & transformed by the Spirit, triumphant over the world, the flesh & the devil, in time & for eternity, for Heavenly Father desires no less.

  • I take it you claim to be a christian of sorts. Does this beautiful building look demonic or evil? What brand of christianity are you involved in that you think its ok to be dishonest? This is the Lords House.

  • If this is, as you claim, the Lord's house, why does a person have to pay to enter?

    No temple entrance

    No temple recommend

    No tithe money

    Does the Mormon church

    ask its members

to pay for the blood of Jesus?

to pay for the Holy Spirit?

to pay for its shopping malls & other mammon?

to pay for its phony PR?

  • Comment removed

  • There is no cost to enter the House of the Lord. The only prerequisite is that you are living your life in such a way that you don't defile the Holy Temple.

  • I love Mormons; I abhor Mormonism. It bothers me that LDS typically do not exult in & exalt Christ more; very little mention of Him even. I see and hear so much about the LDS church and its leaders and its programs and its pleasers, and yet so little mention of the Name that is above every name, the Name of Jesus. It grieves my heart. I feel His heart.

  • And then one learns of Smith speaking of God in such terms of belittlement in the Follet discourse and elsewhere, not giving Him the glory of having been God from eternity past, but having to become God, who had a father, who had a father, ad infinitum.

  • Moroni is the symbol of the restoration of the Gospel and the fulfillment of Revelation 14:6.

  • Moroni is a fallen angel of false light - or a figure of Smith's unsanctified imagination. You really should study your religion prayerfully along with more time in the Bible.

  • So tell me - who is the angel that John saw in the last days fly in the midst of heaven and having the everlasting gospel to preach to them on earth.(Rev 14:6) If the gospel was already on the earth, why did an angel have to bring it back?

  • Gal. 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. 2 Cor. 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

  • And I, Nephi, saw that he was lifted up upon the cross and slain for the sins of the world. (Book of Mormon, 1 Nephi 11:33)

  • With the preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1Cor. 1:18).

  • And my Father sent me that I might be lifted up upon the cross; and after that I had been lifted up upon the cross, that I might draw all men unto me, that as I have been lifted up by men even so should men be lifted up by the Father, to stand before me, to be judged of their works, whether they be good or whether they be evil— (Book of Mormon, 3 Nephi 27:14)

  • But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (Gal. 6:14).

  • Time spent in the Book of Mormon would be better spent in the 66 Books of the Bible. If one believes Smith in Follet which he gave only a few months before his gunfight in the Carthage jail, such a one most certainly rejects the Deity of Christ. To Christians this is luminously clear.

  • Check out this video now showing on YouTube:

Mormon Temples Compared with the Biblical Temple

  • Shulamitefire:

What does the Cross symbolize? I believe it symbolizes our Savior's atoning sacrifice, his death. Without His Atonement, all mankind would be forever lost. No one can be saved save they turn to Christ their Redeemer, repent, and partake of His Atonement. This is supported in all of our scripture, both old and new.

  • Ive just searched the New Testament and when Christ adminstered the sacrament at the last supper it says that they drank from the cup and partook of bread. It doesnt mention wine. It probably was new wine or pure grape juice as he comments later that he would not drink of the fruit of the vine again until he drinks it in the Kingdom of God.

  • My point is that it doesn't have to be wine. We partake of the cup and bread in rememberance of his blood which was shed and his flesh which was broken. They are tokens. We renew our covenant to remember him and keep his commandments that we may have his spirit with us. We love the Lord. We are His Saints - his Saints of the Last Days. Repent and join the Church of Jesus Christ (of latter day saints) God Bless.

  • Why do LDS use water and not the fruit of the wine? If Jesus meant water, He would have said water. Plain and simple. This yet another example of LDS mormonizing Scripture and bastardizing Bible belief.

  • Jesus declares that only wine is symbolic of His shed blood. No wonder the Mormon church is so poor in God's economy! They belittle the blood & the cross of Christ. They replace water for the blood & a trumpet for the cross.

  • We have replaced the wine with water because of the Word of Wisdom. We do not consume Alcholic Beverages. D&C 89:57.

We don't focus much on the death of Christ, but rather his life. The Miracles performed, the people helped, and the burdens lifted. We do believe that he died on the Cross on Calvary Hill for the sake of man and for the atonment. We believe all men are saved through the atonment, but his life was a miraculous one. We do not 'belittle' the blood of Christ, nor the Cross on which

  • What about the Word of Wisdom Who Is God? See John 1 which says that the Word is God. See 1 Cor.1 that says that God has made Christ as our Wisdom. Why bow to the word of mere man, rather than your Maker? Jesus in NT used & instructs wine in remembrance of His shed blood covenant for the remission of sins. This is an example of what I mean by LDS mormonizing & bastardizing the Bible. Please take extreme care.

  • he was crucified by the PEOPLE. I love my Savior. I know that he lived. You saying that I belittle how he died to save everyone is hurtful. I hope that one day you become a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and are able to walk into this beautiful place we call God's House. It is the most spirtiual thing I have ever done. I hope that this maybe helps you understand more of what we do and why we do it.

  • I ask, though, why does the Mormon church have Moroni blowing a trumpet occupying the place of the cross of Christ? Should not Christ have the actual preeminence? Is Moroni equal to Christ? Is not the cross of Christ truly the centrality of the gospel? Without the cross there would be no resurrection. With the preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation.

  • Let me ask you something, do you believe that if you do not proclaim Christ as your redeemer and savior here on earth, than you go to hell?

  • The cross was the instrument of torture and death which killed the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord is ALIVE! If Christ had been beheaded would you have an axe on the the spire of your church?

  • Why do you think there are so many direct references in the Bible to the cross by the writers of the Bible after Jesus' resurrection? Why? The cross was a place of loving sacrifice, a place where Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves, a place of victory & triumph. Common to cult control & counterfeit Christianity is that the value of the cross is devalued. In matters pertaining to the cross, like JWs, Mormons stumble at the cross. Very sad.

  • We worship Jesus Christ and we know what he achieved on the cross, but we don't worship a piece of wood and an instrument of torture. Its about Christ and what Christ did, not the instrument that killed him. The cross only became a symbol of false christianity when Constantine adopted it as his symbol.

  • When Jesus was on the cross, where were his disciples? Were they with Jesus at the cross? Without the cross would be no resurrection. The cross reminds us of the clear words of Jesus which plainly tell us that unless we deny ourselves, take up our cross, & follow Him we are not worthy to be His disciples. Admit that you are offended by the cross, & repent to Jesus.

  • When Christ and the Apostles speak about taking up your cross it represents following Christ and doing what Christ did ie. sacrificing your life in his service - it doesn't mean worshipping a piece of wood. You're a pagan.

  • You stumble at the cross. You are scandalized by the cross. You have been mormonized & you give more creedance to Maroni & Smith than you do to Christ & the cross. That is gross deception & error. How can you say that you are Christian?

  • How can you say you're a christian when you use lies and deception? I acknowledge what Christ accomplished in suffering agony and dying on the cross. Its about Christ and about what Christ achieved on the cross. its not about the cross itself. If Christ had been shot would you worship a gun?

  • Wherefore, we would to God that we could persuade all men not to rebel against God, to provoke him to anger, but that all men would believe in Christ, and view his death, and suffer his cross and bear the shame of the world; wherefore, I, Jacob, take it upon me to fulfil the commandment of my brother Nephi. (Book of Mormon, Jacob 1:8)

  • Mat. 16: 23-25 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. 24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

  • The Book of Mormon is a well-proven myth. Even B.H. Roberts, a church general authority, tossed it. LDS apologist Van Hale does not believe its history & people, nor do numerous others who are scholars. People should be reading more of the OT & more of the NT. All three witnesses to the BoM were excommunicated. Martin Harris stood up in the Kirtland temple & stated that no one ever saw the plates with their physical eyes, but by the eyes of faith. That blew three apostles out of the church.

  • B.H. Roberts: 'Let me say once and for all, so as to avoid what might otherwise call for repeated explanation, that what is herein set forth does not represent any conclusions of mine. The report herewith submitted is what it purports to be, namely a 'study of Book of Mormon origins,' for the information of those who ought to know everything about it pro et con, as well as that which has been produced against it. I do not say my conclusions for they are undrawn.'

  • B.H. Roberts: 'It may be of great importance since it represents what may be used by some opponent in criticism of the Book of Mormon. I am taking the position that our faith is not only unshaken but unshakable in the Book of Mormon, and therefore we can look without fear upon all that can be said against it.'

  • You should look at & listen to the latter of B.H. Roberts' life rather than the former. The man was very disillusioned with the authenticity & authority of the Book of Mormon.

  • A friend is leaving the church and gave me the book: Teachings of the Presidents of the Church: Joseph Smith. In it, Hill Cumorah is conclusively placed on the Smith family farm. We finally have confirmation of something that could prove the story of the BOM. Let's see if they ever excavate it.

  • With the preaching of the cross is the power of God unto salvation. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1Cor. 1:18). But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (Gal. 6:14).

  • The preaching of the cross is the preaching of the sacrifice and Atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. It doesn't involve the worship of a piece of wood or an instrument devised to torture and kill.

  • For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God (1Cor. 1:18). But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world (Gal. 6:14).

  • Wow! Mandatory tithing (paying) to be able to wave a temple recommend in the face of Father, supposing to have won His favor. Soak in Luke 18 & get the Holy Spirit sense of what Jesus is saying about such presumption & pride. Attempt thinking in your heart & believing with your mind as a disciple of Christ who has not been preconditioned by a man-made religious system, a religion that mixes enough truth with error to present its system as palatable & plausible to the spiritually undiscerning.

  • Why do mormons use water instead of wine or grape juice in the communion?

  • "Why do mormons use water instead of wine or grape juice in the communion?" They water down the truth, replace the cross of Christ with a statue of Moroni masquerading as an angel of light, & bastardized the Bible with their all their admix & twistology. It might shock people to know how many cents on the dollar of tithe money are spent on temples compared with actual cents on the dollar given to help the poor & needy. See this on YouTube: "Mormon Temples Compared with the Biblical Temple."

  • It is still strange and cultish inside! I found it cold and creepy, hypnotic movie and all...

  • beachlady78's quote: "It is still strange and cultish inside! I found it cold and creepy, hypnotic movie and all... "

My reply : I'm sure you would have said that also about any other temple in any other time that the Lord had his temples...that is why we don't allow unworhty people into his temples after it is dedicated to HIM...you take inside what is inside you.

The point is...God had temples in times past as well as today...whether you like it or not is insignificant.

  • And of course you would say that as I see in your favorites you mark anti-mormon videos...so we see what your real motive is in saying what you do here. Jesus said...my sheep hear my voice...if this feels weird and "cultish" it is because you don't have the Spirit of the Lord with you...plain and simple.

  • And here I thought the Bible says that God does not dwell in temples made with human hands. These Mormons are a sappy bunch.

  • Sappy? Probably but that doesn't concern doctrine. First, the LDS temple is based on the ancient Jewish temple. Early texts like "The Pearl" or the "Odes of Thomas" or even the Egyptian Book of Breathings are surprising Mormon and surprisingly applicable to the LDS teachings about the Plan of Salvation.

The temple doesn't teach Mormons anything new per se. The Book of Mormon contains the entire plan of salvation. That being said, the temple is like the Lab portion of a math class.

  • We must do all the book work before hand, and then in the lab is where give context and practical application of what we have learned.

As far God dwelling in temples or not, do you not believe in the Old Testament? Did God appear to Moses on Sinai? Did he write the original set of commandments on the stone tablets? If so, why can't he appear to his people in a place that they sacrificed for and dedicated with His authority? He DOES appear in His Temples because He IS the LORD and Redeemer

  • MORMON SCRIPTURES in 2009 say when people are BAD Mormon God CURSES them BLACK

"...they WERE WHITE...and DELIGHTSOME...Lord God did cause a SKIN OF BLACKNESS to come upon them(Book of Mormon 2 Nephi 5:21)"

when people become GOOD the MORMON GOD TURNS there SKIN WHITE

"12...the Lamanites who had become converted unto the Lord did unite with their brethren, the Nephites...

15 And their curse was taken from them, and their SKIN became WHITE like unto the Nephites(Book of Mormon 3 Nephi 2:12-15)"

  • apologiamixer's quote: "And here I thought the Bible says that God does not dwell in temples made with human hands. These Mormons are a sappy bunch."

um..so can you explain why Jesus got so upset that people were defiling his fathers house...that he even took a whip ..no where else do we see Jesus get upset like he does about his Father's house in the scriptures...I guess temples don't matter then right?..oh for your information...that scripture is refering to PAGAN temples not God's temples.

  • I've seen a lot of "Inside the temple" videos, and I think this is the best one.

It's simple, shorter than most, you used clips that explain the main topics of family and a personal connection to God, and then concluded with a testimony of an Apostle.

What could be better? Thank you for this. Good job.

  • Thanks for the video. How do I go about downloading the video so I can post it to my own account?

My wife's parents got tickets for us to go to the dedication of this temple. It's going to be way awesome!

  • Depends on if you're working on a mac or pc. You can google search how to, or look up a vid on youtube how to.

  • This is the most beautiful youtube video I have ever seen.

  • Thank you. Feel free to download and upload it to your account.

I made this to be kind of a "pass along" video to help all people understand a bit more about what the Temple is, and hopefully to get them to come to the open house if at all possible.
